It is worth noting that Robin has chosen a new name… by stealing the codename of an evil version of himself from an alternate reality? I'll be curious to see if “Drake” will last (or if the various teen heroes decide to make a running joke out of such a bizarre choice). Whatever he chooses to call himself, it looks like Tim Drake has himself a team to investigate S.T.A.R. Labs and what happened to his best friend. Worth a look. Read Full Review

There's a lot going on in Young Justice this month. The issue isn't bad, in fact it's often funny and has some great character moments. It's simply bogged down by too many characters who sound the same and don't have strong reasons for being there. Read Full Review

If you enjoy great art,  you'll get that here but really that's about all you get because nothing happens in this issue beyond adding characters to a title where the main cast of heroes still haven't been explained or explored, not to mention the person they're going after has already been outed as a bad guy in the Superman book months ago.  There's really nothing here worthwhile and I'm so sad that this book is so bad because I desperately wanted to be a fan of Young Justice again. Prelude: It's the crossover that signals the end of Year One of Wonder Comics. Hopefully Bendis doesn't screw things up but I don't know why I have hope. The Good: Wonder Comics? Oh and the art was good. The Bendis: Bendis-Speak. Continuity is off. Just a bunch of talking. A lot. Like a whole lot. Things just feel convenient for convenience sake. What was meant to be a big moment was more of a splat. Conclusion: Wow, this sucked big time. 0.5 for the art but man, there is so little to actually like here.

Too many characters piling into the story and not enough story. This issue was just boring. I'm starting to like Tim's costume. It's growing on me. Still hate that he is calling himself Drake now. I just can't get behind him calling himself Duck basically. Because that is what a Drake is. A male Duck. I keep saying I'm going to stop getting this series but I keep getting just one more issue hoping it will turn into something worth reading and that Tim will get a better name. No luck on either front there. I think I'll stop getting them here and stick to that decision this time. It's just throwing good money away. One good think about the comic. I like the art.

Wow, this is the last new comic I'll read this week and it's also the worst. There's just so much talking in this issue, and it's mostly unnecessary. And it's so Bendis. Annoyingly so. This is just a jumbled mess of disinteresting garbage. To add insult to injury, Miguel becomes Spider-Man at the end, like Bendis can't help but go back to his old tricks... literally. He should realize that he fucked up both of the Spider-Men he's known for, and that the past should stay in the past, especially when you work for the other company now. But what am I even saying? I gave this issue, and that moment, more thought than Bendis did.
