DC Comics News - Sean Blumenshine
Aug 14, 2019I loved this issue. There's a personal nature to it that's really appealing. It's nice to have the missing Themyscira story resolved and that Diana can travel between both worlds again. It's solid development and it effectively allows the reader to catch his breath before this big conflict with Cheetah. The art is great and I really enjoyed reading it. Read Full Review

Lyles Movie Files - Jeffrey Lyles
Aug 14, 2019For a slower paced issue, this is one of my favorite issues of Wilson's run so far. With this cliffhanger, the title looks to have some strong momentum headed toward the Year of the Villain tie-in. Read Full Review

Razorfine - Alan Rapp
Aug 15, 2019Beginning in Themyscira, we are given a chance to see Diana with her mother as well as her return to man's world given the repaired gateway between the two realms following the defeat of Ares. There's also a reunion with Steve Trevor (who is far happier to see Diana than the guest she brought with her), and (keeping with the theme of mothers and daughter which opens the issues) Diana putting aside animosity in order to reunite Isadore Cole with her mother Veronica. Worth a look. Read Full Review

Weird Science - Jim Werner
Aug 14, 2019Everyone who has been reading this book since Rebirth started will probably have a smile on their face reading this issue. Well, maybe not the entire issue as things slog along to get to the big parts. This book is missing something and I hope G Willow Wilson figures out what it is before it's too late. Read Full Review
