Mar 28, 2018The issue ends with the promise of another showdown, so do yourself a favour, and pick up this issue so that you are not lost when issue #44 hits the stands. Robinson has an opportunity to stay in the high rev range all the way to #50 and silence those who are still pining for a Rucka return. Godspeed Jimmy. Read Full Review

Mar 28, 2018The artwork for this issue was pretty decent. There were moments that stood out more than others; such as the chaotic scene on the third to last page. I love the use of a fractured image to imply that they all got grabbed by the portal. The swirling nature is nothing new as far as representing portals goes, but the fracturing was new. I liked it. Plus there's plenty of dramatic poses, and as per usual Diana gets most of them. Read Full Review

Mar 28, 2018While Wonder Woman #43 does not answer every question about Darkseid's plans or even where Jason got his powers, it is a fun issue. There was a moment where Trevor mentioned that Amanda Waller had offered the services of the Suicide Squad to him. That would have been an interesting crossover event, had it played out that way. However, allowing Trevor and Jason's relationship to grow a little more added extra depth to Jason's development as a character. He wants Steve Trevor to trust him and he is willing to do whatever he needs to earn Steve's trust. In the final events of the issue, Wonder Woman #43 ensures that readers are going to see a lot of action in the next issue. Read Full Review

Mar 28, 2018WONDER WOMAN #43 is a great build-up to the grand confrontation between Darkseid and Wonder Woman. However, Jason's characterization, as well as a lacking of Wonder Woman herself, takes away from the overall piece's potential. Read Full Review

Mar 28, 2018Wonder Woman continues to be disappointing and while the character dialog in this issue comes off better than previous issues........ it's still a padded out issue, where the only bit that really matters is the last couple of pages. I love the art in this issue, but like usual....... that's really the only thing I love about this book. Read Full Review

Mar 28, 2018All in all, this issue felt like filler, and poor filler at that. By the end of the book, Robinson finally delivered on the promise of the teaser from the issue before, but its too little, too late. If this arc has any hope of being saved, the pace is going to have to pick up on the back half. Read Full Review

Mar 29, 2018Wonder Woman #43 is another issue of Robinson's run that not only completely lacks a compelling plotline, but shows a complete lack of understanding of its main character. Read Full Review

Apr 01, 2018This issue isn't that bad but it feels superfluous. Outside of the ending, nothing is really accomplished. A lot of time is wasted on the fight with the Furies which looks great but feels hollow. The issue feels like the story is being stretched out and it ends up being a fairly boring issue. Mar 28, 2018I'm really enjoying Wonder Woman #43 and James Robinson is kicking goals again with an enjoyable story that is furthering to the mythology of this Amazonian Princess. It is brought to life by the amazing art of Marco Santucci who creates that blockbuster experience for one of our favourite DCU heroes, the amazing Wonder Woman Read Full Review
