All in all Teen Titans #37 is another sterling example of Glass's ability to continue to weave a complex and intricate tale of deception, misery and shocking twists. Couple this with Chang's bold, reliable artwork and we have another winner. And of course we also get another almighty twist that surely rivals that of Roundhouse's deceit. Read Full Review

Chang also handled the art with finishes by Scott Hanna. The result is art thats not as sharp as whats been the norm for the series. Characters and action sequences seem rougher than usual. Marcelo Maiolos colors remain vibrant however. Read Full Review

Teen Titans #37 brings every thematic element Adam Glass and Bernard Chang have been building toward in the last year and half to a head, and clicks all the pieces together fluidly and powerfully. This is the first time in a while I've honestly stepped away from Teen Titans and been excited for next month's issue. There were a lot of great things happening this issue. Roundhouse continues to develop as a character, the team is working together and supporting each other, and it's reveal is both shocking and interesting. Read Full Review

We have a supposed big reveal here with the identity of The Other finally being shown, but with the way that it plays out and the actual identity, I was left wanting more and cared way more about what was happening in the background with our different Teen Titan members.  The art was great and the colors were poppin', but this issue just wasn't worth the wait for the reveal. The personal relationships between the Titans is always where this book shines, and that is the case once more here. We just wish the big payoff lived up a bit more to all the promise it had. Read Full Review

Prelude: Teen Titan's quality has been dipping strongly recently. Let's see if Glass and Chang can fix that in this issue. The Good: I do like the reveal of the Other. It works well with the overall story and idea behind Damian's actions which a lot of the story has been about. Family, parents and the future of crime. The Other's talk with Damian was interesting and I quite liked it. The conversation between KF, Emiko and Crush was good too. The Bad: I'm just not liking this art. Roundhouse's heel turn feels a bit too fast. Conclusion: The strength in this issue is The Other. While the other factors surrounding him this issue was ok, he was the highlight.

Yeah. This reveal doesn't help this book. At all. I hope the next writer does better, whoever that ends up being.
