Oh it has a point but it isn't a good one and the aims of those behind it are not well intended.

Supergirl Comic Box Commentary - Anj
Nov 01, 2024This is an amazing plot twist, one that somehow makes me interested in Doomsday. I also think it makes sense for him to be the Time Trapper. Some know that I don't like when the Trapper is revealed to be another character. But this works! So overall, a crackling first issue filled with enough moments to be a true jumping on point. I immediately wanted to read more. That is the best sign! Congratulations for Williamson and Mora for bringing it! Read Full Review

Oct 23, 2024Josh Williamson's Superman has been one of DC's best titles since it launched, combining a wild-and-crazy 90s-influenced plot with sensational character work for Clark, Lois, and especially Lex Luthor. So for this new era, he takes all that and dials it up to eleven. Read Full Review

The Aspiring Kryptonian - Sam Rakestraw
Oct 23, 2024Superman #19 is the kick this series needed with a Superfamily focus much like on Action Comics and House of Brainiac and is already more exciting than the previous arcs, though they all had their qualities. It also kind of feels like a 90s Dan Jurgens story with the return of Doomsday and inclusion of a time traveling figure that deals with Supermans future. Read Full Review

Oct 28, 2024Superman #19 provides a strong start to Dan Mora's tenure as an artist; he provides the flair and hope that should come with a Superman story, while Joshua Williamson brings back some old villains to cause trouble for Superman. While Lois Lane's status as a hero is not ideal and not the most creative choice, Williamson suggests a promising direction for the series. Read Full Review
