Redondo is an excellent choice for artist of the book. The action is clean and exciting. The book leaves us on a cliffhanger and I loved it. I can't wait to see how the creative team wraps this up. There are two big takeaways here. First, the crew appears to be setting out on their own. Second, we discover the man behind the curtain pulling Lok's strings is… Ted Kord? Skeptical about the big revelation at the end, but Taylor's done such fantastic work with this book I'm inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt and see where he's going with it. Also, this comic has the funniest act of violence I've seen all week

Prelude: I absolutely loved the last issue of Suicide Squad. Can't wait to see this issue so enough preamble, let's jump in. The Good: The twist and turns! Love it. Was not expecting Ted. But in Taylor I trust. Art is great. The Bad: Nothing. Conclusion: A very simple issue but one that proves entertaining and majorly important in the story.

Great ending to the first act and a reveal that makes me interested in the next arc. Deadshot continues to be my favorite character and Taylor does a lot with him without overdoing the amount of space he takes up in issues.

This was a good issue. Deadshot finally does something other than stand around and voice his objections to what's going on, and his move was pretty cool, even if it was predictable. At this stage, I don't think these "Revolutionaries" are going to grow on me, so I'll settle for them not annoying me, and in this issue, they weren't unbearably annoying, which was nice. I still don't like that our "Suicide Squad" only has 2 (maybe 3?) members who are actually established characters. I get that it makes it easier to kill people off, but it also makes it harder to invest in the story. Taylor's writing is quite good, character issues aside, and Redondo's art is fantastic.

The suicide squad to hunt down Captain Boomerang.. Plus we finally gets to know who pulled the strings all along.. Last but not the least Deadshot gets his own moment and scores!

each issue is extremely fast yet packs a big bunch. Deadshot finally steps up & takes matters into his own hands, great action such as the team against Captain Boomerang, etc. But obviously the big reveal is what has me pumped for the next issue. Why is Ted Kord in cahoots with Tok & whoever else has invested...interest, in Task Force X? And I have a feeling some big name Justice League members are about to make a cameo. This is truly a story I can't tell where it's going to go. I keep trying to predict it but pulls the rug from under me. This was a fun issue. My only gripe is learning Jog's backstory. Was it needed? No. Was it used to try and make us care about him before he dies? Yup & I didn't care. Still a fun issue.
