While I like the direction things are going in Suicide Squad #6, I still struggle with the size of the team. Now they have gone rogue and Ted is the baddie. I am not sure about that. It is always nice to see the big guy, but I worry that they had to bring him in for issue six. Does that mean the book is on thin ice? Maybe. I like the direction things are going with Floyd. The hunters were definitely hunted this week. Suicide Squad #6 did not disappoint one bit showing these guys what they have stepped into trying to take down the puppet master who's been pulling their strings. This book should have a ton more people reading it, and maybe Batman showing up will do the trick.  The overall story doesn't progress a lot, but the art is excellent, and there are some laugh out loud moments, mostly at the Dark Knight's expense.  This is a book that should be on more pull lists! Suicide Squad #6 delivers another great read. It has humor, and character in abundance. Whatever happens to the team in the coming issues I find myself hoping more and more that these characters get to become standing staples in the DC Universe. Although Tom Taylor kills certain characters from time to time, the reading experience of this SUICIDE SQUAD story is very good. To put it bluntly, the current 6 issues are the best suicide squad stories I have read.

Everything gets better when Batman shows up! The Dark Knight makes a fun guest appearance and I loved it. Taylor manage to show case some great action, suspense & funny dialogue in this issue. A good chunk of it happens between Batman & Deadshot going toe to toe with gadgets, quick responses and even a subtle argument that has commentary on how batman operates. It's great. I loved it.

I don't have a habit giving comics 10/10 scores, simply because I reserve it for something so perfect I can't even comprehend the though of it. But this issue... this issue was as perfect to me as you can get in Suicide Squad comics, no joke. It was significantly more lighthearted than past issues, giving Chaos Kitten, Wink, Harley and Deadshot more than expected opportunities to really shine comedically. And I love every single of their scenes. This is how you bring light and humor into the grim Gotham City in a natural way, without turning complex characters into caricatures nor relying on one liner quips no one genuinely laughs at. It's just perfect and I won't lie, I love this series so far. The new faces in the cast, the tone, the stor y, the relations and development, it all combines so nicely, resulting in a project that reads good, looks good and exceeds your expectations with every issue clearly crafted with passion. If you're not reading the series yet, trust me, you're missing out on possibly the best thing DC's releasing these days. Not counting Death Metal since it's a crossover event. more

A landmark issue for this series. The humor was probably the best it has been and blended so well with the action sequences. Batman and Deadshot really sell this issue.

This currently is the best DC ongoing in my opinion, and will be the only one I read every month until the inevitable reboot coming after Death Metal. Tom Taylor needs to get on other books at DC, every ongoing right now is suffering in my opinion, while all the mini/maxi series and events are what is keeping DC afloat.

Taylor's Aussie-Squad OC's make a fool out of the Dark Knight while Deadshot makes a difficult decision. While I like Taylor's writing, I feel like his overkill wholesome moments (the dog in this issue) kind of bloat the story and leave something to be desired. Series is still great tho.

Suicide Squad ends up in Gotham and its protector is on their back.Batman and bat frames are the core of the issue followed by a much awaited Deadshot V Batman moment although it ends dull.The book ends in the most unexpected way expected adding to the surprises.

Listen...I'm always jazzed to see Batman show up in a comic that's not his. But when he shows up, I like him to come in and show what an absolute badass he is and then leave in a way that makes the other characters feel lucky just to have breathed the same air as him for a bit and survived mostly intact. So it kinda bums me out to see him show up and do not much of anything except for taking punches from teenagers and getting his Batmobile stolen. Firstly...this issue just showed Batman taking out a group of highly trained and fully armed assassins in seconds, but he gets punched and kicked in the face twice while trying to take down two amateur anarchists? And then some girl who is a thief and a teleporter manages to steal a vehicle that i s probably more secure than any vault or supercomputer on earth? That just seems like a bit of a joke to me, and not a very good one at that. Art was good, that was a plus. Also... "Your government took me from my kid". Yeah, Deadshot...that's what freaking happens when you break the law...you go to jail and you get separated from the people you love. Well if it isn't the consequences of your own dang actions. more

I really think that Tom Taylor does not know Deadshot or Batman during this read. Not only did both characters not act their usual selves but they also used as comedic moments… hmmmmm… however the beginning was really good and sets up the middle well before it tumbles down.
