What a fantastic issue. Everything I wanted was there. No… there was more that I didn't even know I wanted. This whole series so far has been a rollercoaster and one which I'm not ready to get off yet. After the end of this issue, I cannot wait to see what happens next to our dear Pamela. G. Wilson has found a very intriguing place on the page. The art team does a pretty good job of moving with the grim nature of the action, but not everything is perfectly in sync with itself as it moves along to the issues conclusion. Where Ivy goes from the end of the chapter will be interesting. Wilson could take Ivy in any of many directions as things continue to fall apart for her, but its been such a weird and textured journey that its difficult to imagine any conclusion feeling satisfying in the face of such a strangely ambitious adventure. I still appreciate elements and previous issues of G. Willow Wilson's Poison Ivy, but this finale has definitely been her weakest issue so far. It feels like we're back to square one with Ivy's character where she's still split in two, trying to appeal to two different groups at once. Read Full Review

Final del primer arco y vaya que final! Me produjo de todo, estoy satisfecha con este arco. El personaje a manos de G Willow Wilson promete. Tenemos a una Poison Ivy ya definida y lo que quiere hacer en la vida, cosa que en los últimos años no estaba del todo definido. Que bien se siente que se haga este tipo de trabajo con los personajes, darles más profundidad. No puedo esperar al segundo arco y desde ya deseo que haya un tercer arco!

To the people who found this episode weak all I can really say is each to there own but for the rest of us that clearly understood the message then this has been a wonderful end to the first 6 issues. I for one loved every single word and panel. It was written by a writer that has talent , a voice and hope in the most perverse way. Great horror and special mention to the art and colour team as it was a joy to the eyes.

This was a little bit of a weird ending to the arc, but still enjoyable overall. If you read my review of the previous issue, my opinion remains the same about the art here. As for the story itself, it wasn't my favorite of this series. I'm not sure if that has to do with the fact that this got extended from a 6-issue series to a 12-issue series, but I'm hoping that's what it is. Nonetheless, there were a lot of good moments here, story-wise and art-wise, and I'm still looking forward to what comes next.

this was a pleasant surprise for sure. I really like Poison Ivy dealing with Jason voorhoe, and her thoughts on that child offering to give her a hand, and how Poison Ivy realizes that humanity is worth saving and there are beautiful things in humanity.

Doesn't *quite* stick the landing as much as I hoped (Ivy's "hero turn" is a bit too quick for how hardcore her kills were at the beginning of the series and the "We're the Green" scene is good but a little Deus Ex Machina*) but the rest is so good it's still a high quality story. * I suspect the story originally maybe ended a bit more ambigously before it got extended for a second arc, so they had to alter the ending a bit for Ivy to keep having adventures.

I would have like it better if Ivy had to deal with the consequences of the lamia poisoning than be saved by a literal dues ex machina.

I agree with most of the reviews that this is the weakest of the issues so far. It's gross that she literally eats the villain and I still don't understand the "grow around the boulder" suggestion from Batman. Not sure how that factored in as well as the little girl handing her scarf. It was all strange and not explained well. I like that Harley is on the way, but how does she know where to go? Pretty weak storytelling with this one.
