Nov 07, 2022‘Poison Ivy' ends its first arc just as strong and emotionally powerful as it began, telling a complete story that leaves the character perfectly positioned to dive right into the upcoming second story arc in a new way. A hauntingly beautiful eco-horror tale through and through, it doesn't shy away from challenging moments or topics as it takes us deep into the main character's mind. A must-read story for Poison Ivy, DC Comics, or just overall comic book fans! Read Full Review

Nov 01, 2022Wilson's take on Poison Ivy started as pretty controversial, but it's come full circle in an impressive way and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing this one continue. Read Full Review

Nov 06, 2022What a fantastic issue. Everything I wanted was there. No… there was more that I didn't even know I wanted. This whole series so far has been a rollercoaster and one which I'm not ready to get off yet. After the end of this issue, I cannot wait to see what happens next to our dear Pamela. G. Willow Wilson and the team have smashed it and given a lot of people much to think about over the course of the last 6 issues. Ivy would be proud. Read Full Review

Nov 01, 2022Poison Ivy #6 is every bit as terrifying, compelling, and sentimental as the issues that have come before it. Ivys future looks bright. Hopefully, she isnt doomed to keep repeating herself. Read Full Review

Nov 02, 2022Wilson has found a very intriguing place on the page. The art team does a pretty good job of moving with the grim nature of the action, but not everything is perfectly in sync with itself as it moves along to the issues conclusion. Where Ivy goes from the end of the chapter will be interesting. Wilson could take Ivy in any of many directions as things continue to fall apart for her, but its been such a weird and textured journey that its difficult to imagine any conclusion feeling satisfying in the face of such a strangely ambitious adventure. Nov 02, 2022Overall it's still a good comic, but it's certainly not quite at the level the previous issues have been at. Read Full Review

Nov 01, 2022I still appreciate elements and previous issues of G. Willow Wilson's Poison Ivy, but this finale has definitely been her weakest issue so far. It feels like we're back to square one with Ivy's character where she's still split in two, trying to appeal to two different groups at once. Read Full Review
