Nov 15, 2018This miniseries has been an absolute delight to follow along with, highlighting the strengths of both the creators behind it and the titular hero in front. Plastic Man is a love-letter to the strange, wacky, mischevious & kind-hearted Eel O'Brian, delivering laughs, joys and acceptance of others that we all could use more of! Read Full Review

Black Nerd Problems - Mikkel Snyder
Nov 14, 2018Plastic Man, the character, is one of the most powerful characters in the DC universe with a sleezy exterior and heart of marshmallow fluff. Plastic Man, the series, is a self-contained story that is a long love letter to the marriage of classical and modern superheroe stories. Simone and Melo have created a must read for any DC fan, and arguably any comic book fan. Read Full Review

Nov 14, 2018Maybe Plastic Man is not the most heroic of heroes, but he gets the job done in his own unique and entertaining way. All of the typical components of a mundane costume superhero story are here, only they twisted and re-formed, just like Plastic Man would be expected to be. Read Full Review

Nov 14, 2018Itsa great book with great art, and suggests a sequel or ongoing may be in ourfuture. If the same creative team remains in place, Im all for it. Hopefully,DC, Simone and Melo are on board for the ride. My only concern is for Plasssidekick. Not sure Im digging the whole gender fluidity thing in such a youngcharacter, but Im willing to be open minded. Hopefully, Ill learn something. Read Full Review

Nov 15, 2018This is a fun and emotionally satisfying end to this mini-series. The last page promises us that Plastic Man will return, and with Janet out there, she certainly the odds on favorite to be the antagonist in Plas's next outing. Hopefully, Simone and Melo will return and continue to give us more of their faithful, yet modern take on the character. Read Full Review

Nov 14, 2018I can't believe it, but I actually have to give this series an F.U.5 in the final analysis. It's a waste of time and money. There are some good offbeat moments, but as a six-issue narrative, it falls flat. This issue is the most weighted with the story, so if you have to buy one, this is it. Read Full Review
