Another strong issue from the team, and I look forward to next month's. I have a few ideas as to who the fire monster is, or who they may be controlled by. I'll let you know if I'm right when it's revealed! Read Full Review

Chris Mooneyham is doing some amazing work on this title. He's one of the best artists that DC has in their arsenal. His storytelling is top notch and his figure drawing is exemplary. I look forward to more work for him. He takes the interesting script from Jurgens and really brings it home. Read Full Review

Sadly, Grayson is still on the backburner in NIGHTWING #60. While the artwork is amazing, focusing more on Team Nightwing and less on the O.G. Nightwing has left this comic fizzling out. Read Full Review

Dark Knight News - Steve J Ray

I've loved Nightwing since his first appearance almost 35 years ago, and I've been a huge Dick Grayson fan for at least a decade longer than that! I know that this new take on the character has left many fans bewildered, or even enraged. For me this era has been fascinating, entertaining and educational. I'm loving this series as much as I ever have, and, whatever he calls himself, Mr. Grayson remains one of the most admirable and inspirational heroes in all of comics. Nightwing #60 is another example of how to write and draw comics the right way. Read Full Review

But Why Tho? - William J. Jackson

    May 15, 2019

While he may not be the exact same masked hero, the outcome is the same. The main difference is an additional cast this book needed. And, with them comes a better understanding of the city they inhabit, and why it deserves to be fought for. Read Full Review

The Batman Universe - Sebastian Ferguson

In the current age of nebulous trade-fillers and spectacles that barely tell the barest of plot lines, Jurgens manages to tell an actual comic book plot in a single issue, just like the good old days. Read Full Review

    Comic Watch - Adrian Care

Despite the Team Nightwing gimmick starting to wear thin, there is some well-written character work in this issue. The creative team balance the cast well and do create some intrigue with what is essentially an uninspired villain, but this storyline needs to wrap up and this book is starting to feel like it needs a new direction. Now, when it comes to his potential battle with Sapienza, this has a ton of promise. It could divide the group and lead to some serious down and dirty hand-to-hand fights. Ric will win, but it should still make for a wild ride. Read Full Review

Nightwing's new status quo continues to be interesting as we're getting new villains and diving into the backstories of our new heroes. The art really works for the story and even though we're not getting a lot of Ric Grayson here, I think it works better for this title right now and what it's trying to do. Read Full Review

ChrisMooneyhams art works for the book, much as it has on other titles. Maybe Imimagining things, but it has a distinctive style that is reminiscent of DenysCowan inked by Klaus Janson. Not a bad mix, but its only a matter of time whenhe cultivates his own style, if he hasnt already and Im projecting my owninterpretations. Read Full Review

    Geek Dad - Ray Goldfield

Dan Jurgens has been writing DC comics for close to thirty years now, and in that time he's rarely written a bad comic. The current "Ric Grayson" status quo seems determined to test that, but he's still managed to elevate this title above the dumpster fire it's become, at least in Nightwing #60. Read Full Review

    Batman-News - Joshua McDonald

There's nothing new here. Ric Grayson is" Ric Grayson. At this point, you have creative teams inside and outside of DC taking jabs at how awful this entire concept is, so you would think that DC would just move on" Unfortunately, they're not, and we have to continue enduring this generic slum of mediocrity that often dips down into the low levels of bad. But hey, at least we have Nightwing Prime and Nightwing Red now" Read Full Review
