The Green Lantern #10 moves fast and is filled from cover to cover with amazing creativity both artistically and from a narrative perspective. There is a LOT going on in this series and while it does require some effort on the reader's part it's energy well spent. Morrison, Sharp, Oliff and Orzechowski are all working at peak form and their collective efforts have made this series something quite special. Read Full Review

The Green Lantern #10 embraces the fun in comics with some nostalgia and high concepts. While there may be minor character moments in the set up, next issue's conclusion of this two-parter promises to bring more as Morrison has teased the DC history that will surely play out. It won't just be Hal Jordan, but a team of Lanterns that saves the day! Read Full Review

Whether old or new fan alike, the series continues to deliver an exciting fleshed out tale with each new chapter. As Morrison and Sharp drive the story forward, the title is propelled into exciting areas while still managing to use long-forgotten continuity to create something all its own. With two more issues remaining before the break between volume one and two, readers will undoubtedly be waiting on pins and needles for the soon to be revealed new title for the upcoming chapter to Hal Jordans story. Thus far, Grant Morrison's Green Lantern run has been a fascinating, cosmic genre-swapping adventure, but it's been distinctly less bizarre than most of his runs. For those who wanted a little more of Morrison's trademark multiversal madness, wait no more " the first two-part arc of the series has taken the strengths of the series and blended them with the insanity of Morrison's Multiversity. Liam Sharp's artwork is definitely the glue that puts a lot of this issue together. This is an artist that uses every inch of the space he's allowed in every panel and devotes it to pure detail. There is not a single uninteresting space in any page of these books, and Sharp honestly deserves more credit than he receives.Bottom Line: Morrison is adding layers to his multiverse, and it makes for a compelling read that sets it apart from any other adventure so far in this series. It's definitely worth your time. Read Full Review

All in all, Green Lantern #10 was fun and engaging read that is well-written and boasts some spectacular art from Liam Sharp who celebrates the Green Lantern mythology from across the multiverse. As a result, its my favourite issue of this series so far, even though it was a little tangential at times but overall it draws you int this immersive story. Read Full Review

Idk, I really enjoy this series. I can see why it's controversial because it seems like Grant Morrison doubled his drug consumption and is just writing the most bonkers stuff. However, it's so wildly creative that I can't fault him for it. I never expected to see stoner Green Lantern again after Multiversity, and yet here he is. I like this series also because it's so separate from the rest of the DC Universe. It's so nice to be able to read a series that doesn't feel like it needs to cross over with any other major team or superhero. Sharp's art still amazes

Prelude: The ball has started rolling so let's see how Morrison goes with ending Season One in this issue, "Guardians of the Multiverse". The Good: First up, I really like all the differing Green Lanterns. I like how everything is tying itself together. Liam Sharp's art is amazing. The Bad: Nothing that stands out. Conclusion: As we near the end of this series, everything is starting to come together and I love what Morrison is doing.

"I don't approve of weed." Great issue with a lot of expansion of the Multiversal lore that Grant has been creating since Final Crisis (or even earlier!). The police procedural stuff dealing with the anti-matter mining colony is pretty enjoyable too. I also annotated this issue here: https://sonofbatmann.blogspot.com/2019/08/the-green-lantern-10-annotations.html

THE GOOD: -This is so fun and creative. So much different than so many other books DC is putting out right now. -Liam Sharp and Grant Morrison just fit. I think that's part of the reason the annual was so bad, was because the art and writing didn't click. -Oh man, the Earth 32 page was just... everything i want to see in any comic. -The undead Trinity just proves Liam Sharp needs to illustrate more horror comics. -I mean, I'm excited for next issue. That seems to be an unfortunate trend with this one though. A lackluster issue gets me excited with the last page for... what ultimately is another lackluster issue. And so on. I'll hold out hope for this one though. THE BAD: -I loved the stoner Lantern at first because h more

This was fine, I guess. I don't really like stereotypical stoner characters from the 90s, but apparently Morrison didn't get the memo that this was a tired trope. Otherwise, it sure did exist.

Well, the art is nice. The story made me realize something - I need to cancel my GL subscription. This is absolute trash. Mr. Morrison: stop it. We know you can write a good story. We have seen it before. Do you just hate Green Lantern?

Incoherent story at times. No seeming impact on the DCU. Morrison's run has been such a downgrade compared with what Vindetti did before. Dropping the title today.
