The Flash #796 ends the One-Minute War with a fantastic finale. The new concept is clunky and odd within the context of everything else included in the book, but the last battle itself and the action of the issue as a whole are magnificent. Overall, the One-Minute War wasnt awful. However, it still wasnt my favorite issue or arc of Adams Flash run today. Sadly, Adams time is coming closer and closer to an end. The Flash #796 concludes The One-Minute-War in a mostly satisfying way, although the several pencilers, inkers, and colorists makes for an uneven read. Some of the plotlines end in a contrived manner, but overall everything concludes in a neat fashion. Read Full Review

The Flash #796 is an almost strong finish to an event that started weakly and got better as it progressed. The tone, dialog, and action hit all the right notes for what Flash Family fans could want, but the cobbled-together art from too many artists with too-different styles is off-putting. One way or another, it all gets resolved. The sinister-looking villain does what sinister-looking villains do. The cool-looking hero does what the cool-looking hero does. Theres a combat. Theres a resolution. Things have shifted a bit by the end of the issue, but that much is to be expected when things move as quickly as they do in a story like the One-Minute War. Read Full Review

Phenomenal. It’s gold irony that this comes out the same week as ASM. Marvel: Let’s take one of our most hated stories of all time, OMD, and try to make it even worse/more polarizing. DC: Let’s take one of our most hated stories of all time, Heroes in Crisis, and apologize for it and try to make good. I hope Tom King punched himself in his nuts and micro-penis as he read this issue. If I have one complaint, it’s this: best Roger Cruz looks like Joe MAD. Rushed Roger Cruz looks like Scott McDaniel. No offense, Scott McDaniel.

Moments felt rushed and the art made those moments even more chaotic. Overall the story was well told and fun. The ending was cool and sweet.

While this storyline hasn't been my absolute favorite, it was still pretty solid. This fact remains for the finale that is this issue. It gets an extra 0.5 from for the ending, which I particlarly enjoyed.

This event was decent but could have been better. Everything was all over the place. The main characters, the undercooked villains and the art. The art was underwhelming, especially considering that it's the last big thing in Adams' run before #800. Pasarin was the saving grace as usual for this Flash ongoing. The family moments are the strongest points of this whole run and the aftermath felt sweet and charming. Still sad to see Adams go after #800.
