After last week's The Flash 2021 Annual, where we saw major revelations for Wally West, it's time to pace things back a little bit this issue and have a smaller, more personal look at Wally and his family and the struggles of having to split your time up between super-heroics and getting a paycheck, but with that aspect, we get some interesting setups, a great cliffhanger, and some great art throughout..... I just wish we could have seen a little more getting a job struggles for Wally. Read Full Review

The Flash #772 is a fun fresh start for Wally that is slightly let down by some artistic choices. The plot is exciting and nostalgic, harkening back to a classic Flash comic, and the energy that exudes when the characters are happy in this comic is infectious. But too much exposition and bizarre designs on the main character prevents the comic from really shining. Read Full Review

The everyman Flash is back! Seeing Wally struggle to find work after everything from previous issues felt so relatable. Course I was a little jealous with my lack of connections. But hey, he's tried and deals with the everyday life as much as everybody else. It felt good to be back in all of this after a brief stint of feeling mortality. That is until a blast from the past is ready to go out in a blaze of glory because he's feeling his mortality.

Dude, I don't even care if this rating is a bit high, I am just so impressed that Flash has a personality. Is this what we were missing with Barry Allen?

Up to this point in my comic-reading career, I've never really had a Flash: Barry was in the N52 comics and the CW show (before it went to crap) while Wally was in the DCAU + Young Justice and the Pre-Flashpoint stuff which I always enjoyed. To have a Wally run after so long should feel like a radical transition... but I can't help but absolutely love the direction Jeremy Adams has been taking him. Wally is so much fun, and the utilization of Mr. Terrific works extremely well. It's crazy to think it's been 5 year since Johns had Wally and Linda reunite in the DCU Rebirth special, and look where we are now!

Barry and Wally's personality traits have been jumbled so much at this point a lot of people can't tell the difference anymore. Also, he said he's a mechanic, not a scientist exactly.
