Raina Creel's thugs are making a move on the pawn shop where Catwoman has set up headquarters, and if Selina can't stop them, it could cost the lives of the allies she has working there. Luckily, none of them will go down without a fight; unluckily, Raina's biggest bad may have more fight than any of them can handle.

Joelle Jones has written a really excellent storyline over many issues. Reading this particular issue, I can now see she had been planting seeds this whole time during her run. All her work is paying off and I can't wait to see how it ends!! Read Full Review

To see how Raina Creel has evolved into a very important player in the Batman Family landscape, you'll need to pick up several past issues of Catwoman. But to truly appreciate the writing of Jolle Jones you need to grab every issue you can of Catwoman. Besides, we all love Alfred and the few pages he is remembered is worth the purchase! As entertaining as it is, there isnt a whole lot of story this issue. The simple plot structure keeps the story firmly grounded in action heroism that maintains an even flow of action from beginning to end. The ending of this issue is suitably dramatic, but it sets up a bit of a challenge for the next installment what with it being the case the final showdown between Catwoman and Creel does appear to be starting on the very first panel of issue 21. An issue-length physical conflict is unlikely. Itll be interesting to see how Kyle and Blanco wrap-up this part of Catwomans life in March.  Read Full Review

Joelle Jones is wrapping her run on Catwoman in the coming months, so it's no surprise she's building up to a big finale in Catwoman #20. The problem is, I don't think the big finale it's building towards really fits the tone of the run or Selina's character. Read Full Review

Catwoman #20 does about everything right to build excitement for the conclusion of Joelle Jones run on this series. Jones has crafted a compelling narrative around this conflict between Catwoman and Raina Creel. Hopefully Jones can end her Catwoman run on high note in the next issue. Read Full Review

    Weird Science - Jim Werner

This Catwoman series has struggled to pick up any momentum for a while now and tries to make up for it with a forced and hurried penultimate issue to the Raina Creel story.  Without proper setup, the plot twists and turns, and it winds up being a confusing mess by the time the cliffhanger arrives.  I will be back next month to finish out the story, but I am not looking forward to it.
