You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff

Catwoman edges towards her 80th-anniversary celebration next month with an issue that feels like one of the better single issues in her long and winding history. The character still has a great deal of life in her. Jones has proven that shes not tied to any one city. From here, she can really go anywhere she wants and still be interesting to give the right treatment. Occasional faltering aside, Jones has done a very good job with the overall flow of the better part of the first couple of years of this series. Read Full Review

Catwoman #21 makes for a fitting conclusion to this chapter of Selina’s life in Villa Hermosa. Joëlle Jones continues to deliver a solid Catwoman series and though Selina may be up against a zombie horde, Fernando Blanco and FCO Plascencia make certain your eyes stay glued to each page. Joelle Jones concludes her run on Catwoman this week with Catwoman #21. The title will be playing host to anthology stories over the next few months " and while the final issue has all the problems of the series-long plot that's been dominating, it also has some really great moments that speak to Selina's character and some brilliant art by Fernando Blanco. Joelle Jones has absolutely left her mark on Selina across this run thus far, and here's hoping it's far from the last time she'll be tied to the character. Read Full Review

Dark Knight News - Adam Ray

The arc concludes exactly the way it should, with a beautiful image of our heroes riding off into the sunset. It falls into the old conventions of a western, which is not what I'd expect from this title. At the same time, we have all the stuff on Catwoman's mind, now being on ours. Catwoman #21 fills us with the questions and doubts she has in herself. This ending also leaves the path open, and this reader excited for the character's boundless potential. Read Full Review

Raina Creel"no spoilers here, but this is the type of villain that Selina needs to have going against her. Jolle Jones has found her book and I would love to find her influence in other story lines that are predominately female protagonist driven (hint, hint"Zatanna".Jessica Cruz".Power Girl" the list can go on and on.) Joelle Jones wrapped up her run on Catwoman that leaves a strong mark on Selina Kyle's history. The war between Catwoman and Raina Creel ended in a way that left Selina a stronger character than when this series started. The ending creates plenty of opportunity for the next creative team to use what Jones built as a strong foundation for Catwoman's future. Read Full Review

    Weird Science - Jim Werner

Joelle Jones finishes her run on Catwoman, and those readers who stuck with it will get some big moments that, while forced, still were satisfying enough.  Despite having her hands tied a bit with the circumstances leading into this run, I liked some of the things we got, it just took way to long to get them before time ran out.  Oh well, the reset button is hit and let's just hope things get better from here.
