The issue leaves us with the wonder of all the ways this can go. The secrets certain characters uncover in this issue are too great to go unanswered. We readers can only imagine how badly things can go because we know what they've found. Catwoman seems like an unlikely hero, but a perfect fit for the series going forward. I am eager for more. Things collide in this issue in a way that may not precisely feel cohesive, but at least its true to form for Kyle at this stage in her life. Things arent neat and tidy. Sometimes theyre gloopy and murky. Sometimes they get ugly. Every now and then shes got to hop onto a bike and go for a ride. Wait, wasn't Selina hooking up with Bruce Wayne? Now she's got this James guy? Who's he? Had Joelle Jones taken a moment to reset the scene, readers would know. But she didn't, so it's Just Another Scene With Catwoman Messing With a Guy. The Raina Creel/Villa Hermosa story is intriguing and reasonably well thought out. A unique villain/rationale for the violence within. I look forward to seeing where it takes us. The art looks like someone really wants to be David Mazzucchelli when they grow up. Which isn't bad...just derivative. The Year of the Villain "offer" is forced and disrupts the flow of the book -- as it does in most all books where this takes place.

I begin to think, that this run is just a filler to keep Catwoman away from Gotham until King puts her in his Batman run again. The story is just moving way too slow. And I’m at the point where I’m asking myself, what Catwoman even wants in that town. Mrs. Creel is still interesting and at least she did something, that gives us more plot, but not much else happens. I also think it’s rushed, that Catwoman suddenly breaks up with her new lover out of nowhere. Lex suddenly showing up also seemed kind of forced& not connected to the main plot. Quite boring issue.

I'm fairly certain Catwoman will continue past Selina's reintroduction in King's Batman run, even after Batman/Catwoman starts.

Will this story arc ever end?????? It's not even remotely interesting. If I wasn't such a huge fan of the character of Catwoman I would've dropped this series already. It's felt like nothing but filler from the first issue. NONE of the characters are interesting. The writer has even managed to make Catwoman herself boring!. Which is just mind boggling. Catwoman is an amazing, fun, vibrant exciting character. It shouldn't even be possible to write her boring in anyway but Jones does just that and very well. How!??? I can only hope that Jones run in ending soon and we get some real Catwoman stories. If not soon I see this book tanking before to long. It's just not any good. If the Creel family story was just dropped without an ending I would not mind at all. I don't care at all to find out how that ends. Nor do I care about Catwomans friends. None of them are interesting. more

God, this series sucks the life out of me. It's just so very boring and it never stops. I don't know the names of most of the characters. I had completely forgotten about whoever the boyfriend is. Just please end this.
