Batman: Killing Time #4 is a spectacular issue if readers can get their heads around the jumps. If you arent prepared for it or following along, the constant switching from national park to diner to Ancient Greece to a hospital all in four pages will throw you off, like trying to hold on to a merry-go-round. I, for one, was pleasantly surprised by this issue. I feel like I'm starting to get into the story, especially now that The Help seems to get an interesting character arc, and Selina and Riddler's team-up is a lot of fun. The artwork is great all the way through. This issue was absolutely amazing. King's script was on point, Marquez's art was breathtaking. The Help remains a brilliant and fascinating character. This series is what I wish King's Batman run was.

This series continues to be one of the best Bat books on the stands. You really feel you're getting your money worth when you read this. Its just packed with actual content. No filler, all story and great artwork. The characters are all rendered beautifully and consistently, the dislogue is mostly smartly written, and it's engaging even if we don't know what all these characters are after yet. Seriously this art is phenomenal. Hags off to mr. Marquez. And tom king has written many a Batman script but he proves he's still got it with this.

Usually by the 4th issue a story reaches its peak of interest. This one looks like it's still going to be pretty exciting to the finish. The best part is King shows he does still have the ability to put out a good Batman story. I don't like this Espinoza character though. Please tell me she gets killed off by the end. I hate people who curse every other word they say just to feel big. It's so juvenile. One big shock to this is seeing Batnman actually teaming up with The Help. How long will this last? It looks like more excitement ahead, making this a book worth checking out.
