It's not bad. I actually was entertained. But we've seen this type of story a million times. Fighting while talking.
TIME TO DIE, SPIDER-MAN! The city watches as Spider-Man takes the worst beating of his life. What can Spider-man do to rally? There MUST be something!
I think all the stories were just ok. I actually liked the reprint story the best.

Maybe the best issue in my opinion. I felt really engaged in the outcome of the group of cats we've been following.
Love is in the air at Pet City. Gigi has Lucky and Elsie has someone now too! But just who exactly is her secret lover and what does it mean for the rest of the cats? Meanwhile Lord quickly learns that this new home comes with new rules and he's never been good with those!
Started off a little corny and got better as it went. I enjoyed it.

With series scribe JED MacKAY and your new favorite artist DEVMALYA PRAMANIK lending their talents to this epic and oversized issue, it's one that you can't afford to miss as it sets the sta...
I live the art. This issue was a bit more "relaxed" but I liked the story overall.

Or will innocent people begin to pay for Eddie's hubris? Meanwhile, back in Chicago, Eddie and Carnage go from Hunter to Hunted as MUSE closes in on who destroyed his studio.
Patrick Horvath’s return to Woodbrook deftly expands the original series, introducing Monica Brewer, a new character who is the sister of Samantha’s victim from original series’ debut issue. Monica’s POV is expertly woven into the story’s established lore, setting the stage for a compelling new arc.
Horvath takes a bold leap by dedicating a significant portion establishing Mon more

The Seasons has been a fantastical, and fantastic, adventure that's gotten darker with each issue. After the revelations of the previous issues, where the secrets of the circus and the motivations of its evil ringleader were finally exposed, this week’s issue sees Spring Seasons trying to escape the magical world she's been trapped in. And what a journey it is!
Artist Paul Azaceta and more
Things go from bad to worse for Spring Seasons as she searches for her family and tries to make heads or tails of reality inside the evil carnival’s big top of lies.
Prepare to be transported to the steamy Louisiana bayou in this tensely intimate debut issue. Si Spurrier’s script is expertly crafted, but it’s the visuals by Vanesa Del Rey and John Starr that truly standout. The artwork perfectly captures the environment, making you feel like you’re right there with the characters, sweating amidst unbearable humidity, wading through cypress swamps and dodmore
MINISERIES PREMIERE Fargo meets Deliverance in a sweaty swamp-thriller from VANESA DEL REY (Black Widow, The Creeping Below) and SI SPURRIER (Coda, X-Men). The wet heat of the Louisiana bayou. Alligator poachers prowl the mudbug mire. A park ranger, heavily pregnant, raises a hateful mug of moonshine with a criminal matriarch. And one dead...
It's still a fun book with great art. Just not sure it really takes me to that next level when reading it.

I don't really care for how Benjamin acts as a character, but the story is pretty trippy, weird and unique. I think it's pretty entertaining.
Legendary science-fiction novelist Benjamin J. Carp has just been resurrected 40 years after his death . . . and that’s not even the strangest thing that’s going to happen to him today. In an effort to unravel the mystery of author Benjamin J. Carp’s unexpected reappearance, Benjamin and his newfound companion, Marcus, travel to the arid Jos...
I liked this a lot more than I thought I would. It started off a tad confusing, but by the end of the issue I was invested in the main characters story.

An all-new interpretation of Tatsuo Yoshida’s classic manga/anime, MachGoGoGo, known to Western audiences as Speed Racer! Speed Racer lives for the thrill of the race, but on the underground circuit, the rules are anything goes. Dodging bullets, explosions, and dirty tricks, he’s got one goal: to prove he’s the best. But when a dangerous synd...
This is series is just a nice and easy comic, even though it's about slashing. It's entertaining, it's not too serious, and it always keeps me coming back.
Riley takes center stage as Hopton Valley Killer agrees to let her plan their next spree. Will she make the cut? Or is it curtains for Riley's dream of murderous glory?
It's interesting for the most part. Still not sure how I feel about this series. It's ok, but it's not really anything I'm looking forward to.
Jeff, Brian, and Franklin are saved...by the Soviet Union? Cautiously joining these new mysterious underdwellers deep beneath the surface, they encounter dangers far worse - and more ancient - than a hammer and sickle: a predator's thirst for blood.
I think I'm just ready for this series to end, but it does have some redeeming qualities. It's just with the time between issues, I don't really feel invested.
THE HIT SCI-FI series from DSTLRY continues!
Writers Brian Azzarello (THE BLOOD BROTHERS MOTHER, 100 Bullets) and Stephanie Phillips (Grim, Harley Quinn) team up with artist Danijel Zezelj (Nostalgia) and colorist Lee Loughridge (SOMNA, GONE) to create a masterfully crafted flip book, housing two enthralling stories in one!

After not being super sold on issue 1, and having to wait for my shop to get #2, I wasn't sure what to expect getting back to this series. I just read 2 and 3, and wow, this series has really ramped up. The emotion you feel for the main character is pretty heartbreaking.
When Jonathan Reason falls asleep, he becomes...something terrible. Jon’s plan to protect the town from his alter ego’s unseen rampages backfires horrendously. He now knows he either has to seek some help from a friend or make an awful decision.
I didn't like the twist in this one. Felt like it came quick and wasn't very impactful. Overall, it's still a fun little story with some great art.
Case 03: PareidolaBatman’s vigilant investigation of the Red Hood Gang killing in the Rookery putshim on a collision course with the unlikely culprits at the heart of the latest mysterythreatening to upend order in Gotham City.
A good return to this world. It has a new focus and I like the idea of the new main character from this point of view.

I don't think it was as good as last issue, but it does feel important to the Ultimate Universe.
MILES AND THE ULTIMATES VS. BLACK PANTHER! MILES MORALES teams up with fan-favorite ULTIMATES team members GIANT-MAN and THE WASP! But BLACK PANTHER doesn't want these Ultimate terrorist interlopers in Wakanda… Plus: The secret history of Janet Van Dyne!
This was a good first issue. Its not a super original concept, but it was done well.
Neil’s life has been falling apart ever since his father was killed by crooked cops. Fifteen years later, Neil’s mother lays on her deathbed and he’s stuck in a dead-end job, has nowhere to live, and no hope to speak of. Life keeps kicking Neil and he keeps taking it, too frightened to fight back. Until now. With his world crumbling around hi...
Pretty standard for this Miles Morales series. Lots of action and talking while fighting.
GOD WAR'S (ANCIENT) SECRETS REVEALED! The flames of the GOD WAR engulf Brooklyn - and Miles Morales rallies his band of demigods, misfits and (one) Hulk (?) to save New York from Ares' destructive onslaught! But Spider-God Anansi's deceived even his own champion by keeping the true cause of this primordial blood feud under wraps - UNTIL NOW!
This was a cool feel good type story, with pretty good character work between an unlikely duo. It wasn't what I expected, but it was fun.
This imaginative odd couple workplace comedy pairs an unambitious stoner with a salty soon-to-be-retiree as part of a new government initiative dubbed "The Purpose Project." I think I'll need to re read everything at once. I'm not sure I quite understand everything that happened due to the long gaps in between issues. It was entertaining though.
Writer Scott Hoffman of Scissor Sisters (Nostalgia, Wag) teams up with artist Alberto Ponticelli (Frankenstein: Agent of SHADE, Goodnight Paradise, Orc Island) for a sci-fi/horror mystery that pushes the limits of the grotesque.
In a smoldering finale, Vin recruits an army of the maligned to confront her enemy just as Prophetiq prepares to pres...
This series is becoming overly sad like Ice Cream Man, but I am here for it. What an issue.
URGENT! PLEASE HELP! I have aged 60 years in 6 days! Life is rapidly passing me by, and I can't make it stop! My mind and body are breaking down, and I’m not sure how much longer I have left! I am in a race against time, and I am losing! If you can help, please call 555-0404. PLEASE, TIME IS RUNNING OUT!
I liked this one. The art wasn't that great for the tone of the issue, but I liked the story.
BEWARE THE HAT MAN. High school outcast Frank is addicted to finding the darkest corners of the internet. But now those dark corners are reaching through the screen with very long fingers and very sharp teeth. Learn the origin of the Department’s haunted hacker in a two-part Deviation with guest art by LETIZIA CADONICI (House of Slaughter)!
I didn't find this as good as previous issues, but it still is a high quality series that delivers each time it comes out.
They say that before you begin a journey of revenge, you should dig two graves, but Annalise and her robot are going to need a lot more than that. Way more. Even more than you’re thinking. Also in this issue: a guy gets his head punched off!
