What a great first issue. Wonderful art, good concept, emotional story. Not much to fault.

This went a totally different direction then I thought it would. But it's a good thing. It told a good story, even if it's not original. I'm really rooting for the main character.
A dumpster-corpse out back of a rez casino...a gaggle of tourists with guns in their fannypacks...and an alligator-skin hipflask...The wind is rising in the bayou. Overstretched park ranger Marie has stumbled into a whole mess of trouble, and before the night's through, there'll be blood in the still waters of the swamp. The hardboiled cajun crime t...
Lots of talking, but did it's job in giving us some pretty good character work.
MY DINNER WITH HARRY! Harry Osborn lives! Peter and Mary Jane have another fateful dinner with Harry and Gwen…
This was a pretty interesting issue. I like the Wrecker and Moon Knight dynamic.
HE'S NOT A GHOST HUNTER… …but he'll moonlight as one. To settle a score, Marc Spector, A.K.A. MOON KNIGHT, must help the WRECKER rid himself of the ghosts of his past…except these hauntings are the real deal! Beset by the spirits of victims of his past misdeeds, Wrecker's last hope is Moon Knight - who decides to leave the Wrecker to his phan...
This one was another good issue since the return, but I guess it's going on another break. I do wonder how this will all tie in with the characters we haven't seen in a while.
END OF STORY ARC
Nominated as "Best New Series" in the 2024 Eisner Awards, PHANTOM ROAD by JEFF LEMIRE and GABRIEL HERNÁNDEZ WALTA reaches the conclusion of the thrilling new arc of "THE HORRORMEN."Agent Weaver risks everything to save his daughter Theresa, sacrificing his own life to the Other Place in exchange for hers. Or are memories not...
Not bad. Benjamin is a type of character that annoys me. It also had a lame ending, even though I get what they are trying to do.
I’m saying all of that was never real in the first place. It is not that you will cease to exist, Marcus, it is that you never really existed in the first place. That life was always an illusion. Your dreams were always temporary. Your memories were always an invention. But you know, let’s be honest, that’s how it is for most people, when you...
Probably the best issue so far.
In "Proof of Life", a robot is accused of sentience and put on trial. If it is found to be alive, it will be destroyed. But what proves that you are alive more than not wanting to be destroyed? The brainchild of Mark Russell, Vanishing Point is an anthology series of short stories that are part science fiction and part existential horror, with an e...
Maybe the best UM book so far? I really liked this one and can't wait for more.

After a bit of a break, this issue didn't do any services of getting me hooked back into the world. It was never the most exciting book, but I thought things were picking up before the break. Besides the last page, this book was a little boring. The art is what is propelling my grade.
Faced with an existential plague of biblical proportions, the townspeople of New Hope decide to take matters into their own hands, resulting in a bloody massacre that no one saw coming.
Another really good issue. Its not unique, but does a really good job of telling it's story. It also has some great confrontations.
Neil returns to Albion Flats to seek vengeance against the men who killed his father, and left him scarred. But as he hunts crooked cops, the adrenaline fades and his anxiety mounts as Neil realises he’s in over his head. He’s just a scared kid barely out of his teens. What’s he going to do when he finally gets his hands on these killers? Wha...
I liked this arc and the possibilities of this new character. I'm just confused about Hawk. Maybe I lost knowledge along the way, but why is he hanging around with the DOT. I thought it was known he is a traitor.
END OF STORY ARCFrank is desperate to find the Hat Man in the hopes of saving her friend. But the more people who believe in the Hat Man…the more real he becomes. Which means the Department of Truth needs to stop Frank before she unwittingly spreads a viral Wild Fiction they can’t possibly contain. The fallout of this confrontation will change ...
The art remains the money maker of the series. This issue I didn't feel as great about as other issue. Just a lot of talking.
Case 03: PareidoliaBatman. Three criminals. One gun. One wound. One life. The heart-wrenching finaleof “Pareidolia” is here. Don’t miss it.
I wasn't enthralled with it like some, but it was fun. I had fun with it.
The team behind the critically acclaimed Ice Cream Man comic comes to DCto apply its singular storytelling style to none other than the Man of Steel!Four new Kryptonites have been discovered in deep space, and Supermanneeds to know just what, exactly, they do to him—lest the colorful rocks ofhis home planet fall into evil hands! I'm so glad I didn't give up this book after issue 1. It's become a good read with a lot of character work and emotion. I really feel for the main character.
When Jonathan Reason falls asleep, he becomes...something terrible. With all conventional solutions off the table after a disastrous night, Jon desperately seeks out a supernatural explanation. As the whole town shelters at the church, dark secrets start to emerge among the group.
The art was very muddled at the beginning. I get that the style, but it made it less engaging. I did like the direction the story went. Didn't really see it coming. Not the best. Not the worst. Enjoyed the series overall.
MINISERIES FINALESeth has chased his story to its conclusion. Now the pieces are in place. The players are in position. It’s time to spring the trap and see what gets caught. What bad things would you do, given a choice? The finale of what SCOTT SNYDER (Absolute Batman) calls “a true crime fan’s instant new favorite” delivers its bloody sec...
Typical Miles book.
WHITE CAT AND INARI - ON THE PROWL! INARI and WHITE CAT, two super-thieves with everything to lose, are running wild in Brooklyn - and with SPIDER-MAN still reeling from GOD WAR, the battle against these new foes might be the straw that breaks the camel's back. MISTY KNIGHT's leading the investigation, but she needs an extra hand. Someone with cat ...
A solid issue. It's fun, faithful and the art makes it all work.
Life in the fast lane! Speed enters the Sword Mountain qualifier with one goal—win a million dollars to save Pops’ life. But racing at the pro level means taking on corporate-backed legends, deadly rivals like Snake Oiler, and the shadowy legacy of the CAT Team—the same crew that cost Rex Racer his life. When slick tricks send Speed spinning,...
Highly interested in the revelations of the first two stories. All the back ups were useless to me.
SPIDEY GOES COSMIC! A tale of two Spider-Men...One Spider-Man swings around New York City meting out justice in an unfriendly matter. Another Spider-Man is found in a distant solar system running with strange companions. One such companion? A stranger named SYMBIE making his FIRST APPEARANCE! The next major chapter in Spider-Man's life begins here!
The art really hindered my enjoyment of this one. I thought last issue was great, and the art enhanced that issue. In this one, it took away from the story. It's just shadows and names and people in glasses, and I'm having a hard time figuring out who is who. I still got the idea of the issue and it was fine.
As the Rotten descend on Old Joe's Diner, the patrons must make a fateful decision: whether to stay or try their luck on the road to Las Vegas.
The break up of MJ and Paul would be cooler if I knew she'd get with Peter, but we know that's not happening. I do actually like MJ as venom, but it definitely isn't sustainable. Hopefully Knull returns in an interesting way.
VENOM VS. MARY JANE WATSON! After the events of last issue, MJ's life is upside down… and there's one symbiote to blame! It's the argument of the century as the world's strangest roommates air all their dirty laundry…but when the last word is said, will any relationship be left standing?
It's definitely entertaining, but it doesn't have much depth, which is fine. It's just a book to turn your brain off and enjoy.
Audrey is desperate to make it home to take her son trick-or-treating, but she’ll be lucky to make it out alive when Big Bruce's car lot becomes the battleground for a long-simmering grudge match. The game gets brutally personal as breakout talent CHE GRAYSON (Dark Spaces: Good Deeds) and fan-favorite artist ADAM GORHAM (Hellhunters) join JAMES T...

Another Spider-Man is found in a distant solar system running with strange companions. One such companion? A stranger named SYMBIE making his FIRST APPEARANCE! This was a pretty cool book. Art was fantastic. Nothing extraordinary plot wise, but it was engaging.

Probably my least favorite issue. I still had some fun, but little apprentice is starting to be annoying.
"Change is inevitable. An ending. A new beginning. Everything in between is merely an obstacle. A weed to be plucked out. Stay tuned." -- A mysterious new killer is disrupting the scene by targeting other slashers that they deem irrelevant. It was fine. Decent plot continuation.
MILES' FIRST CONFRONTATION WITH THE MAKER'S COUNCIL! Silver Samurai attacks interloper Miles Morales! Fortunately, a band of mutants calling themselves the X-Men come to his aid! What will Miles make of the dark history of this alternate universe now that he is faced with the reality of what the Maker has done?
Good action. Wild Hulk fight. Pretty good origin for the new Shang Chi.
THE MONK, THE DRAGON AND THE FIST: SHANG-CHI! The Ultimates return to the site of their untimely deaths at the hands of the Hulk and encounter a young boy who has been starting his own insurgency!
A good issue. The book is a little repetitive in its nature. It's still entertaining and fun.
As the ringleader’s twisted carnival spreads its infectious gospel of ego, the city descends into a dreamlike delusion. Winter and Autumn stand alone against a world too entranced to fight back. How do you battle an evil that everyone else welcomes with open arms?
