FROM THE PAGES OF IMPERIAL! A coup at home has imperiled Shi'ar Majestrix Xandra, tearing her from the throne. Her only hope for survival lies in a mismatched group of renegades led by her father, Professor Charles Xavier, and her resurrected mother, Lilandra! While I was not looking forward to this issue as much as the others in this line, I was pleasantly surprised with the depth of story and drama. Read Full Review
Imperial War: Exiles #1continues to shake up the cosmic landscape, this time giving Charles Xavier a new purpose outside the X-Men and putting a cosmic spin on a classic X-Men team. Read Full Review
mperial War: Exiles is a one-shot that is not 100% tied to the current Marvel cosmic event. While the impact of Imperial is certainly felt, this was 100% about examining the state of the Shi'ar Empire. Read Full Review
There's some new players in the cosmic game, and that's pretty awesome, even if it seems just a tiny bit unlikely that they're all characters we've already met, with ties to Earth? Worth your time, though. Read Full Review

I'm not usually a huge fan of Shi'ar stuff or cosmic stuff in general (I didn't even know Xavier and Lilandra had a kid) but this issue was good. One of the few Shi'ar related things I do like is Deathbird and this was a pretty good issue for her. I'm enjoying Imperial War so far and this is a good one shot side story.
Good stuff! For me a bit tricky to read to be honest but it all comes together at the end.
