Doctor Doom refused to relinquish the mantle of Sorcerer Supreme because he wanted to ensure Earths survival. He criticized Doctor Stranges deal with Cyttorak, claiming it was an unreliable and inefficient means of safeguarding the planet. Doom foresaw Bloodhunt and protected Latveria from Varnaes coordinated attack. But when Spider-Man refuses to carry out his duties as Earths Champion, Amazing Spider-Man #67 asks if Doctor Doom planned for this eventuality. Read Full Review

A solid issue where Peter Parker continues to wallow in self-pity and neglect his duties as Champion. Introducing Crya is an interesting move, especially since it was her battle with Spider-Man that helped drag Peter into this vicious cycle of self-doubt. Crya has been a compelling character throughout the story, and I'm eager to see how she'll impact future issues. Read Full Review

A great issue & great artwork blend together for an issue that hasn't been done in quite some time where Peter is not the driving force of the issue. Just how things will continue remains to be seen. But for now, the entire creative team behind The Amazing Spider-Man are doing some of the most incredible work with the title in quite some time. This is an issue you're not going to want to miss! Read Full Review

    AIPT - David Brooke Feb 12, 2025

Amazing Spider-Man #67 balances intense action and a rich flashback, with the X-Men stealing the spotlight in a way their fans will appreciate. However, Spider-Man's personal journey struggles to maintain momentum, leaving the issue somewhat lopsided. Read Full Review

Comic Watch - Tyler Davis Feb 13, 2025

The Amazing Spider-Man #67 would be entirely skippable if not for the major story reveal of a threat greater than Cyttorak itself, the overall arc of 'Eight Deaths' dragging its feet as a brand-new volume of the title awaits us on the horizon. Read Full Review

Comic Book Revolution - Kevin Lainez Feb 13, 2025

I applaud the effort made to integrate the X-Men into "The 8 Deaths of Spider-Man through the logical connection to Juggernaut and Scions of Cyttorak. Unfortunately, the developments in Amazing Spider-Man #67 are introduced last minute because its information forgotten to be presented earlier. Read Full Review

Weird Science Marvel Comics - mrgabehernandez Feb 12, 2025

Amazing Spider-Man #67 continues the 8 Deaths of Spider-Man arc by throwing out all the rules, presenting setup information too late, and having Spider-Man sit out the challenge for the third issue in a row. It's unclear which is worse – Justina Ireland's writing or Marvel Editorial's negligence. Read Full Review

I can buy depression given what he experienced, I can buy him being in a major mental crisis. The moment the X-men don’t have it under control and May is in danger, if he doesn’t go help I can keep buying it. We are walking a very thin line.

Another generic issue. I like some of the Peter giving up, but it's just not hitting as much as it could and I just am kind of over this 8 deaths story.

This is…. Bad. Peter doesn’t feel like Peter at all. If you’re making me wish Peter is a clone because of how out of character he’s acting, you’ve really missed the mark haha.

I can't believe I am saying this, but I miss Joe Kelly. This was absolutely terrible in almost every way, what a mess this story is.

What happened? Why can't Lowe make a single storyline stick the landing???
