This book is really hard to give thoughts about.

There is so much stuff I like here. But I can't just blindly love it, because there is so much stuff that is still missing. And Peter's characterization continues to be weak compared to others.

However, I still liked so much stuff. Art, the suit, MJ finally giving us what she feels. All good stuff, but with the series ending in 5 issues, I can't stop thinking how much wasted potential this series had. Because so many interesting character moments and developments are missed because every issue focuses in one month.

Kingpin continues to be weak villain. What has he done past year that has really mattered? Only one who did anything was Kraven.

I feel like I am not this often confused by comics.

But seriously. WTF is going on. Who is this for???

Loeb is a genius, I'll give you that. It takes real talent to make everything feel messy, rushed and too slow at the same time.

I think this is the weakest issue of this run. Not to say it's bad, it's still enjoyable read, but not on level of previous issues. Since it is mostly fighting.

I do like how well Kelly wrote Peter here. He seems to have a good grasp on his voice.

But JRJR was a disappointment. The blueprint is still there, I love how his makes the story move from panel to panel. It lacks focus. But if his inker currently is undergoing cancer treatment, I can't be too hard on the art. more

Interesting ending. Not a fan of the art, but implications are intriguing.

This is just fun. Art is amazing and I like how Otto is written. All around good stuff!

This book keeps being frustrating

I liked most of the stuff, art especially was amazing.

MJ is still two-dimensional perfect wife who doesn't seem to have any problem that Peter is going away to fight the same people who kidnapped him for months last time he was in NYC

Jonah found out Peter is Spider-Man off-screen, and that's great. I would hate to see any kind of interesting writing for characters that could lead to something.

And the cliffhanger is once again exciting, but since the next issue wont happen immediately after this one, we gotta wait for month to see how month has passed and we are in entirely different setting while characters talk about how crazy last month was.

Presumably MJ will comment "no worries Peter, I am sure Richard is fine!" more

I really liked this issue. Wells run didn't have these interlude issues that focused on all different parts of Peter's life and they were sorely needed. I like most of the developments, the relationship part I am confused by. Not by the status of the relationship, more that spidey office is actually going there. Interesting choice to say the least.

JRJR was okay. I think I will always love his style, he was the artist on second ever spidey issue I bought, so nostalgia will always keep me on his side. more

It's fun and fine. Nothing special, but entertaining enough.

Finally a comic about Jason being Robin without Bruce being written as an asshole.

This book continues to surprise me. It's just good. I am enjoying this ride so much. And the new artist also works very well here.

I think it finally hit me.

I have liked this series the whole time. I think it's great, but I have felt like i don't see the hype.

But now I do.

This is amazing.

This was really odd. It is more like an Amazing Spider-Man team-up than Giant-Size ASM. I thought the cover was supposed to be related to cover itself, but it is more related to whole package.

Art in all three stories was great. But that is almost all good I have to say about it.

Smith's story is so average and boring that it's hard to give it any credit.

Ewing was just more focused on G.O.D.S. and 616 than Spidey.

And Rapid prelude was just that, not a Spidey story.

So overall, meh package. more

This still is an enjoyable comic. Keep cooking Ewing. And thank you for having Otto without him saying superior every five minutes.

Larraz is amazing and the MVP here. Otherwise, this was really fine. Nothing groundbreaking, but enjoyable read.
