Great read!!!

For the first time in a long time, I had a bit of fun reading a TT comic. Forgot what that felt like.

Calling it now: Talia somehow mixed both Bruce and Slade's DNA together, therefore Deathstroke and Batman would technically be biologically his fathers. This would preserve Damian and Bruce's relationship while creating a new one with Deathstroke. It would also explain why both Batman and Deathstroke tested positive in Damian's DNA test, even though Bruce thinks his was faked. I think that this also allows DC to not go back on their word in saying that Damian is Batman's one true son (let's leave Terry out of this.)

Wait... Catwoman can say words other than "Bat"? Woah.

Absolute trash. We have all these preludes and specials for something that doesn't happen. This was a marketing stunt, plain and simple. Tom King says his arc is 100 issues. So what? That gives you a free pass not to be criticized? I was never a fan of King's run, but was actually thinking this could be somewhat good, to see Batman in a different light than ever before. But no. Bruce is too damaged. WE'VE SEEN THAT A MILLION TIMES. And I get that Bane has somehow done all of this to him, but still. Bane did all of this just to ruin a wedding? Yeah, okay King. I think one of the worst things about this was that I learned about this Sunday night. Not looking for spoilers, just looking through me feed and I saw a HEADLINE. King is going to see a major drop in sales. Good. I hope DC and King have learned their lesson, but I know they haven't. But it's okay guys, just spend the hundreds of dollars on the next 50, with the hope that maybe something will happen in one of them. And can we talk about how the wedding was just 5 people on a roof? Yeah, so you didn't need to buy the preludes at all. The thing is, people say that Batman is humanized with Kings run. How can you say that when his son(s) is not invited to his own wedding, not to mention Superman, who we know from the preludes, WAS GOING TO BE HIS BEST MAN! I've lost all hope in this comic. King and DC should be ashamed for just taking our money and going back on promises.

Why are we having pointless Batman/Joker when one of the biggest events in Batman history is happening in 2 issues?! Why are these issues getting good reviews still? Take a step back and look at everything King has written. What leads up to 50? Nothing. And those stupid preludes are things that should be happening in the series! We don't need an Ivy or Booster arc right before Batman gets MARRIED to Catwoman!

Anyone know when King will be done with Batman?

I keep thinking it will get better. Then Wednesday comes and it doesn't.

What was the point of this arc?

This whole comic arc was made for two reasons: have Wonder Woman be seen by the Batsignal and turn Batman's romance into something you would see on a reality TV show. Thanks, Tom King, I really needed this burning garbage in my life.

Some cool parts, but this is just paint by numbers fan service.

The art is the only redeeming quality in this comic. Percy tries to create this constant conflict environment because they are teens and teens argue with each other. That's all well and good, but it seems he has forgotten that he is writing about superheroes. I am sick and tired of Beast Boy complaining and being a general moron. I am sick of hearing that Damian was an idiot and a crappy leader for trying to save literally everyone and fired Kid Flash, though he had a 100% valid reason. This book is horrible. But I guess it's too much to ask for a good Teen Titans book, and I should stop getting my hopes up.

Strong story, great art.

What was the point of this?

Talia could beat Selina in 2 seconds any day of the week, but overall the best issue in a while.

This whole comic could have been made in two pages. Nothing ever happends.

The characterization is still garbage, just like the rest of Percy's run.

At least something happends.

I didn't dislike it as much as the other books in this arc because at least we got to see SOME of the action in this comic. However, these Kite-Man interludes are dumb, because we have this arc that just is dragging on and on without any real events to tie us, the readers, down to. This should have been a regular issue of the arc and not focus so much on Kite-Man, and it would have been fine. Overall, I liked the art, but I'm still counting down the issues until we get this arc over with. Tom King is a talented writer, but he really just doesn't know what to do with this story.

Not great, but still the best issue we've gotten in a while.

Damian is my favorite character, and I liked this characterization of him, but that and the art that couldn't save the story from a completely rushed ending. All Terry did was take off the mask and was over? Also Damian had weaponds in his basement and Bruce is just going to let that go with a hug and a see you soon? Damian's perfectly fine with Terry now? Jurgens had plenty of time to work out this story, but instead what we got is messy and unfinished.

A bit of a weaker issue, however still my favorite thing coming out of DC.

The story refuses to move more than 5 minutes. At least, that's what I think, since we have no events to actually establish a timeline or have any sense of movement in the story itself. Nothing happens, suggesting that Tom King really doesn't know where to go with this arc, though it is a really cool concept. He just wants to add filler to make us wait for Selina's answer, which I didn't care about much in the first place. An 8 issue arc is pushing it. Moreover, it seems that the stakes aren't that high because of the fact that we know all these characters survive.

The dialogue is so bland with the "He said" "I said" type thing Tom King seems set on for telling a story. Also, why is Batman telling Selina what happened when they were in the room together?

Great issue, but some of the characters choices were a little unprecedented.

This version of Damian is fantastic, but the problem here is that we advance 5 seconds later into the plot. Next issue is the last of this arc and will probably be really rushed. Also, I don't care if the suit is messing with Terry, I'm now 100% on Damian's side. Really cool concept for a story, but the past issues have just been repetitive.

The story is a cool concept, but the characterization is way off.

Such a fun book, these two are the perfect duo!
