Nice teases for post Secret Wars, speculating fans will be pointing at this all Summer long. It's a VERY different feel for the team (feels way more Young Avengers (but more Substance less Style) than conventional teams of the past), but that's clearly the point. Hoping it works.

As good an ending to a Secret Wars tie-in series I could imagine. It was sweet, touching, wrapped up plot points, and yet ended in a way something in this could potentially be revised one day even though it's an alt universe. I so wish this was an ongoing though...

Set after issue #5 and Rage of Ultron but before ANAD (answers the question of when Rage was set, lol). Solicitation is right both an old villain returns and 1st appearance of a new superhero.

I've read the previous issues available on unlimited and was kinda neutral about this series. I bought this just for that cover but read it too since why not. It was sappy, true, but omg was it good regardless. I actually was wiping away tears after reading it. Great tie-in to the end of the Marvel Universe 616.

So much better than Carol's journeys in space.

Hmm... 2 very interesting developments (well possible developments) to the main series here. One with the Maestro and one with Ruby Summers. Well, food for thought anyways. Glad I picked up issue 2

Way more happened here than last issue

Finally sets up a plot behind the previous 4 issues.

Not really for those that have read Hickman's Avenger/New Avenger runs other than a recap and pretry art... but in 10 pages it does a very good job getting new readers or on/off readers up to speed as best as 10 pages could possibly could. Sets a good tone set up for Secret Wars #1 (Even more so now that I've read SW1, won't spoil why though)

They killed off so many Favs of mine... and I still loved it.

I really wish it was the original plan of Mayday or what Spider-Verse vol 1 set up and Anya... but instead it was Spider-Gwen and Spider-Ham (why do they keep pairing these two up?). However the way they played it off of Gwen landing in a patch work world where she can remember her true name of Gwendolyn Stacy but only barely, yet finds her own grave but doesn't remember dying works as a plot. While investigating her supposed death finds out Osborn (the mayor here) may have done it and tries to figure out what all this means. Still I way prefer the female Spiders Mayday, Anya, and Jessica over Gwen (my fav Gwen is Ultimate Universe) in no particular order. I think Spider-Gwen is all movie and cool costume hype, mostly since solo series was mostly mediocre save issue 4 which was better.

I loved that this was half way told from Spider UK (Billy's) pov, but then it switched gears and killed the plot flow by switching to Gwen's and her throwing a temper tantrum at the groups decision. It felt like two issues slapped together at the expense of plot flow and structure ... with bad art. Ham kinda kept telling the same joke over and over too, totally beating a dead horse.

Wait... was that character... wow, did we just have revealed a new character in this series who will be a supporting character to Leia in Episode 7. Or at the very least helping her get there? I'll shut up now, could just be jumping at shadows. Lol

Glad the All-New Ultimates showed up, hope they survive. I was really expecting Avengers vs Ultimates but that really was a misdirection. This is something totally different. I'll admit the issue was confusing at first, so I rereader it. I couldn't figure out why 616 characters who made it on the life raft are there, so how can it be 616... yet marvel is saying it is (mystery for later issues I suppose) and it took me a bit to figure out which Tony Stark was which. The map is confusing too since it states the Baxter building of both universes is on the same Manhattan island but the battleworld map implies their are 2 Manhattans ... plus I didn't see New Attilan set between them.

I'm handling the poor editorial of who is who and how people on the raft can be here better than most. I even have a working theory that i adapt every timd i get more info. Currently modt of these characters are 616 and 1610 characters, though some like 616 Tony may have been edited by Doom to remove his inversion (haven't read Superior Ironman #9 yet though, so maybe he changed back there), while others are reconstructions like 616 Cyclops and Spider-Man. I fully get the low reviews this gets due to these issues though.
