This is the question that Ta-Nehisi Coates explores. Although the scriptwriter lacks experience and sophistication, the author's debut is clearly a success.

I'll never stop wondering how great Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale are able to feel the characters and really tell melancholy-tragic stories about them.

This series was advertised to me as a complete crap, not worth reading. But in reality it turned out to be a pretty good, mocking-trash-action with a break in the fourth wall and a lot of blood.

A solid alternative superhero series. Not as brutally bloody as The Boys, but much more down-to-earth, with imperfect heroes at the point-center, but people like us, who often make mistakes and are subject to human vices.

An interesting comic from the point of view of the general plot, but insanely suffering from the script. The action is extremely abrupt, the characters communicate very strangely within the given situations, constantly and abruptly switching to abstract scenes, and the artists sometimes draw in such a way that the narrative completely breaks down.

Gaiman's genius is writing so abstractly that following the author's thoughts can be as difficult as grasping the essence of the story itself.

I went into the New 52 Wonder Woman thinking I was getting something on the level of Kenneth Branagh's Thor, but getting Wrath of the Titans instead was a big surprise.
