The story was rushed and serviceable although Blackman does a good job keeping me interested but the art from Sanchez should have never been in this book. Luckily Del Mundo returns and makes it all look spectacular. The compositions of the panels and depth of perception, lighting and colors all should be studied. Nobody is like Mike unique SO HE GETS A 10!

Sadly Reverence is the last volume for this Elektra series. While still a good collection it doesn't match the quality of Bloodlines. The first story arc is a fairly standard rival-assassins-battling-it-out tale with ok art. The second story arc is much better with Del Mundo returning on art duties, though the plot does feel a tad rushed (probably due to the series' cancellation).

Elektra ends. It's more of a slide out then ending with a bang. Again Mike del mundo goes from great to muddled , as his dark color pallete and lack of line work blur some panels, but his singular splashes remain astonishing. There is a persistent lack of character development that makes this whole adventure feel no more than a foot note. But if you crave more elektra, you can find some here.
