I'm enjoying this series a lot so far! The beautiful rosy palettes of day contrasting with the sharp terrors of the night. Kate feeling faraway and lost to the reader. Definitely a little slow but I don't mind! Happy to take a long walk through a short world.

Not sure how I feel about this. Overall I'm pretty positive but I found Dinah's perspective shifts a little fast for my liking after a heavily telegraphed Big Drama Scene Where Billionaire Reveals How Low He Will Stoop. I think it's a little too focused on explaining the setup to give her the space she needs to shine as a character. Still though, it's an intriguing start and I'm deffo interested t o see where it goes.more

A nice start, although I must say I was hoping for more. Rucka and DaNi is a duo that I feel had a lot of promise and I do still think this has a lot of potential to become better than what it is here. That said, this was a bit slow, without much being established. Perhaps this might work better if it were placed at a different point in the series, though I did like it overall. Rucka does a nice j ob making the dialogue intriguing, though I do have some problems with the art. I really like DaNi's style, but, as of now, I'm not completely sold on it suiting a superhero book well. There were multiple panels and pages where I really enjoyed her work, but there were others (notably the scenes with more motion/action) that I didn't find to be as strong, unfortunately. All of that said, though, I liked this overall and I do feel there's potential for this to become something great.more

Smouldering, sexy, intense, intriguing! Very excited to see where this goes.

Just OK. Neat premise, but didn't really hook me enough to get me to want to buy another issue. Both the writing and art were serviceable enough, but neither were strong enough to keep me interested. Love the cover and the final piece of art, though.
