Mar 02, 2016After my initial fears, I believe I successfully conveyed my feelings towards Sheriff of Babylon. While some things go over my head, overall they don't take away my enjoyment of the product. By the time Sheriff of Babylon #4ends our main cast appears to be coming together with a common goal. We learn Nassir and Saffiya have history with one another. I wonder how long it will be before we meet the villains. However, many of the characters exist in shades of grey. Tom King and Mitch Gerads are quickly becoming two of my favorite creators and its due to the strength of this story. After the intensity of the last couple of issues, this felt like a much-needed opportunity to catch your breath (not that this was a slow issue). We're really getting to know the characters now; I love how complex and detailed they are. I'm not sure where this book is going, but I'm definitely enjoying the ride.
