I have been enjoying most of the Sandman Universe titles Vertigo is putting out, but Lucifer is far the best. Fans of horror, mythology, or religion will find this book enjoyable. Lucifer #13 put an end to the first storyline of Dan Watters' run. However, many more adventures lie ahead for our favorite Devil and I can't wait to read them. Read Full Review

A whole page of Mazikeen's...unique speaking style drags down the end of the book a bit, but it's some of the best writing this series has had and makes me wonder where Dan Watters can take this series now that the first big storyline is over. Read Full Review

Lucifer #13 felt extremely satisfying to me. The buildup to this issue completely paid off despite not being much action. Lucifer and Caliban's character development especially standout to me, most notably Lucifer whispering to his son as he passes away. I am really interested to see where issue #14 takes Lucifer after all of this. I am absolutely loving Lucifer and suggest readers pick up a copy. Read Full Review

I absolutely loved it! The war with heaven was set to rage forward and Lucifer cleverly gets out of it. Cali am also chooses not to do the expected move and become an angel and chooses to die. This issue perfectly finishes one arc to move on to the next.

I thought this was really well done. I just wish this writer was writing the new Hellblazer series that's coming up instead of the far lesser Si Spurrier. Dan Watters would write a great Constantine.

Continues the stunning run by Dan Watters and Max Fiumara. No spoilers but I have to say this issue really hit me in the emotions! I haven't been this moved by a comic book since 'Doctor Star and the Kingdom of Lost Tomorrows'. (Coincidentally, that was illustrated by Max Fiumara, too.)
