Aug 12, 2019The level of emotion in Doom Patrol: Weight of the Worlds #2 is a highlight in the comic book medium. It's a great thing to know that Young Animal Comics routinely approach a title with an underlying theme that is far deeper and richer than even the best of any mainstream super-hero comic. It's not all good vs. evil here, it's emotional and mental health that are stake. Any one of us can learn from the Doom Patrol. Read Full Review

Aug 09, 2019The story itself is the definition of "quirky." It never takes itself too seriously and that's a good thing. The art by Lambert is tops. He's has a great talent for comic art that I just love. I wish that he would do more work. This is a top level book by a top level creative team. I certainly can't wait for however much more that they give us. It's pretty great. Read Full Review

Aug 14, 2019After a long absence, this 'title's re-emergence proves to be nothing short of sheer stunning artistry on all fronts. Aug 07, 2019It's a quick status quo reset with some interesting new devices included, but no acknowledgement of the notable changes that have occurred or why they were so quickly reset like an inconvenience. In spite of that speed bump, this remains a stunning issue of Doom Patrol, one packed with a variety of styles and approaches to the page, all of which support this wonderfully eccentric story.
