Wolverine #25

Wolverine #25 is a simple comic, and thats why it works. It sort of feels like Percy wanted to use this chapter to prove just how much he knows about Wolverine because this comic is a clinic on who the character is. ‘Wolverine' celebrates 25 issues by taking the highs of the previous issues and plunging right off a cliff as the title character yammers away and the big plotlines sputter to a lackluster conclusion. A really solid backup helps keep the issue afloat but suffers from standing alongside the main story. Read Full Review

There's a dangling plot thread from the last issue that sticks around for a little bit, but don't get too excited. And while the writing is fine, Federico Vincentini's artwork is so cluttered that it's often hard to make out what's happening in each panel. Read Full Review

Phenomenal issue! I loved both stories I especially loved wolverine's reaction to his judgement. Percy continues to show why he is a perfect writer for wolverine

This second half of Wolverine's Judgement Day tie-in is much more enjoyable than the first part. The art can make the story difficult to follow at times, but Wolverine's struggle is written well enough that I found myself ignoring the art to focus on the diologue. Solem is actually fun this time around too, proving to be a good foil to Wolverine and showing a villian dynamic with Wolverine that is different than the rest of his rogue's gallery. The short story at the end fell a little flat for me, but had some flashback-esque scenes that were fun to look at.

A pretty solid issue that I mainly push to the 8 mark for the ending of the main story and the fact that I thought the second half with Wolverine in bars pretty cool. Vicentini did a solid job on this issue and the last, but I am ready for the artist to change. I'm also really looking forward to the next arc of this series, as I'm hoping it'll be where Beast really starts to go off the rails.
