Venom #11 starts a new chapter for Dylan Brock and the Venom symbiote that gets a little introspective. After the brutal fight and revelation from Bedlam, things aren't looking so well for Dylan. But there's still hope for him as the issue introduces a shift in the traditional dynamic between the symbiote and their host that can lead to cool things for the overall story in the next few issues. I don't know how I feel about the sleeper agent part of this, but I did like the stuff with Dylan inside the "symbiote mindscape" or whatever it's called. I thought this was more interesting than other issues V. has written in this series, although I still believe his content isn't really up there with Ewing's work on this title.

This one lost me a little. It just didn't feel as impactful as I feel they wanted it to be. It just felt slightly boring in some parts.

This venom arc hasn't been doing it for me, but I think that's due to how choppy the pacing has been. We haven't been with Dylan for quite a while.

This issue puts some interesting plot developments on the table. And as per usual, it's drawn beautifully. But as has already happened too often with this volume's Ram V issues, I'm hearing lots of people talk about things happening and not seeing much actually happen. (I'll give full credit for the mindscape fight being things happening with a vengeance, though.)
