Final thoughts on Venom #28: well Venomaniacs, I'm still taking this issue in and contemplating what this does for the book going forward. This is probably the biggest issue that Cates has written since taking over the book and is yet another example of why he belongs on the Mt. Rushmore of Venom writers. Read Full Review

Venom moves at a pace any comic book fan can appreciate. Venom heads will love this issue. The big reveal of Virus was great.

That ending! At first i was not so sure on Juan Gedeon's art but it's really growing on me. Lots of action and yet the story moves forward. Nice job lads!

It was pretty solid. I enjoyed the revelations except for virus. Sucks to be some of the speculators on that one. Bit it had a lot going for it and curious to how they use codex.

The writing is good and the revelations are surprising. The only downside of this issue is the artwork. For issue that is more focused on storytelling than action, Gedeon's art is lacking.

Sorry, it's a decent premise and the script is solid, but googly-eyed AU Reed Richards triggered my "hurl this comic away and don't look back" reflex. The art's ruining this for me.
