Beyond The Panel - Jideobi Odunze
Jun 26, 2019With Superiority Comes Responsibility! If you ask me, THIS sounds much better than the original. Superior Spider-Man #8 gave us a perfect conclusion to Superior Spidey's inclusion in the War of the Realms event. I can't help but be impressed by all of these creative teams who have shown us that we can have tie-ins without feeling as though we are spending money on something that you would otherwise call filler. This tie-in was fun, engaging, and never let-up with the character development that you consistently expect from Otto. Read Full Review

Jun 27, 2019I know nothing about the War of the Realms book, and I thoroughly enjoyed this issue! The big thing that I pulled out of this, Gage should totally do a West Coast Avengers book. If had to grab any two books from Marvel, it would be this and last issue of this book. Read Full Review

Jun 26, 2019The West Coast Avengers were never going to be up to the level of some the other super hero team-up. But here it feels right. It feels like that thing that was missing has suddenly been acquired, and I'm hoping that Marvel will find that it has enough going for it to steal away a few issues from something else. Jun 26, 2019With so many characters and opportunities on the page, it would have been easy for this issue to resonate more than typically ignorable tie-ins, but that's exactly where it wound up. Read Full Review
