Dec 31, 2025Boy oh boy WHAT … A … BOOK!! That ending is about as heart-pumping as it gets, and even after a bad a$$ issue, I'm even more hyped for the next one. War is coming, and it's going to be between some of the biggest players in the Marvel Universe! Read Full Review

Dec 31, 2025Punisher: Red Band #4 is a masterclass in escalationtaking Frank Castle from survivor to inevitability. Ben Percy's pacing and Julius Ohta's ferocious visuals work in lockstep, transforming familiar crime beats into something closer to modern horror. It's vicious, cinematic, and purposeful, setting the board for a collision that feels truly unavoidable. Read Full Review

Dec 31, 2025Punisher: Red Band #4 captures the essence of old school Punisher books. The right amount of violence mixed with the reason for said violence. The only holdback is the book does bog a little but does not take away from the overall story. If you are a fan of old school Punisher arcs this is the book and series for you. Read Full Review

Jan 17, 2026The Punisher Red Band series has not been a bad book. It is just not really anything special either. Its continuity is shaky, the language issue is very distracting, and frankly, the Red Band violence is just a gimmick. This is further illustrated by the fact that the ongoing series will not be a Red Band title. If you are a big fan of the Punisher, you will be thrilled at seeing him explode heads and shove people into the backs of garbage trucks. If you can take or leave the character, nothing here is going to change your mind. Read Full Review

Plot Frank Castle forces the paramedics to remove Kingpin's control chip by triggering a countdown timer. The paramedics manage to remove the device and escape. Tombstone is hunting Punisher and wants him dead, especially since he has a new shipment he needs to deliver safely. Spider-Man and Jessica Jones have learned of Punisher's presence in New York. Micro contacts Punisher, even though he's tied up. He's no longer under Micro's control and updates him on the situation: Kingpin's secret war against Tombstone. Punisher summons Tombstone to a meeting to explain what's happening. A powerful narrative that remains consistent across installments, setting the stage for a war between criminal organizations. I love this series so far. The action is cinematic, the violence is visceral and Julius Ohta's hairy bull version of Frank Castle is kinda hot.

Aside from the artist making Frank look like a knuckle-dragger, I really enjoyed this issue. It's good to see the Punisher doing Punisher things. I love the whole ambulance scene. Was the bomb real? LOL, of course it was. Setting up the fight with Tombstone should be epic. My Review Channel - https://youtu.be/EJEBKE8VljE

Id give it a little higher if the art was better. It's a little too cartoony for me.
