New Mutants #29 works well as a one-and-done. Its not exactly an issue that will hook a new reader, as it deals with a lot of stuff that a reader would need to know, but Lore does a good job. Sanna and Brown deliver some kinetic action, but the character acting isnt as strong. This one is a fun comic and a great read, despite some of its flaws. Read Full Review

This is just filler to plug the gap between Ayala and Anders, but as far at stopgaps go, this one's quite solid. Better than I'd expected

An entertaining one-and-done tale. But instead of featuring Daken and Warpath, I would’ve much preferred the story about Scout being hungry for pizza and accidentally winding up at an Orchis base. That would’ve been funny to read.

An issue starring akihiro and Gabby is right up my alley I love both characters. Unfortunately this wasn't my type of story it wasn't bad but it lacked depth in my opinion.
