If Infinity Wars continues down this path, good things will follow.  They must, however, see it through. Making Gamora the baddie immediately was a bold move, but this cannot be another Civil War or Civil War II or name-your-event moment.  Follow through on this one and see the story out.  I guess it all depends on who is really in control.  Whatever happens in the end, though, can we keep Ghost Panther? If you've read the first two issues of Infinity Wars, you'll know that pretty much anything can happen at this point in Gamora's joyride with the Infinity Stones, and that's a lot of fun. This issue is packed with worldbuilding for next phase of the event and the team executes this story well. I'm excited to see what Duggan, Deodato, Martin and Petit have in store for the Marvel Universe as this story progresses. Read Full Review

Not since the Dark Phoenix saga have we seen a being so totally corrupted by power that she can't handle or control. The way this story unfolds we feel the total helplessness of the most powerful heroes the earth has to offer as their world is torn asunder and put back together in ways that they could not imagine. Is there a way to stop Requiem before it's too late? Is there anyone on earth that might be able to stop this madness? Quick, we must contact…to be continued. **** (9.3 rating) Read Full Review

INFINITY WARS #3 is confusing and as only the Infinity Stones can be, but that confusion also creates interest to read future issues and figure out what the hell is going on. You definitely have to have patience with this series. Read Full Review

"Infinity Wars" #3 is a wild, mismatched and slightly tedious issue that still manages to entertain and carry a lot of momentum for the overall direction of the title. Read Full Review

It just all feels crass and out of character and pointless. Will anything be changed when this is all done? Who will be next to scoop up the stones? Wake me when it's over. Read Full Review

Comic Book Revolution - Kevin Lainez

    Sep 13, 2018

Infinity Wars #3 was a major disappointment. After showing signs of potential the story in Infinity Wars has failed to move forward with a compelling plot. There is no clear direction for what the endgame of Infinity Wars will turn out to be. Instead this issue just serves as a way to market the tie-in comics featuring Warped Marvel Universe characters. For a major Marvel event to fail to build anticipation for what happens next is just unacceptable. Read Full Review
