THE DOMINANT SPECIES?
The Hellions can barely keep from killing one another, let alone find a way to fit into Krakoan society. Of course, that might be just what Mister Sinister is counting on when he sends them to clean up his messes.

Weird Science Marvel Comics - Dispatchdcu

    Jul 22, 2020

Its new and its unique to anything Marvel is putting out right now while providing that extra spark to add some spirit to the X-books. Its an excellent addition to the X-MEN titles and Zeb Wells feels like a great fit. HELLIONS is a comic I truly didnt know I wanted or needed but I simply cant wait until next month's issue to wet my whistle. Read Full Review

    Newsarama - Justin Partridge

Though the length of time between these first two issues has been frustrating, I truly think Hellions #2 was worth the wait. Chock full of wonderful, darkly wacky character moments, a rich team dynamic, and story hook that continues to pay out dividends (now made even more richly complex thanks to Pryor's return), Hellions #2 continues to be wholly it's own thing and by doing so, absolutely stands out amid the Dawn of X pack. Hellions has been a book that has taken me by surprise. Zeb Wells has done a great job of reeling in readers and keeping them guessing. The pencils and colors couldnt have been better this issue. Hellions is a book that shouldnt be missed! Read Full Review

Hellions #2 is a fantastic issue. While it moves away from the weightier aspects set up in its debut, it entertains delivering a lot of action and some laughs. It's been a long wait since the first issue but it's been more than worth it. Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - David Harth

    Jul 22, 2020

Hellions #2 is a gut-punch of a comic. The pace is quick and brutal. Wells doesn't waste a lot of time getting to the action, but he's still able to do some nice work with his characters, balancing things very well. Read Full Review

    Major Spoilers - Christopher Rondeau

    Jul 27, 2020

This isn't the strongest series to come up with the X-Men revamp but the themes are rather engaging. I love the darker tone that is coming out of this and X-Force and I enjoy most of the characters that are being featured in this series. At the very least, I will be picking up the next issue to see if they can continue the momentum. My fear is that the middle issues are going to be much of the same thing and not bring anything new to the table. Read Full Review
