The tension from the Sinister and Psylocke dynamic is like a game of comic book "Jenga." Every new issue is like watching another block being pulled out. Someone is gonna make the tower fall.

May 05, 2021In two issues, Hellions has developed more mystery, advanced more characters, and delivered more violence and humor than most series can accomplish across six issues made for a paperback; it's an outstanding example of storytelling in the superhero genre, a bar to which almost all other series ought to aim. May 12, 2021Hellions #11 redeems what felt to be shaping up to be a mediocre, at best, story. Wells expertly cleverly subverts reader expectation- of course, Sinister and Mastermind, mutants known for their subterfuge, had something shady planned. Its a great twist, and it pulls this issue into the stars. Segovias art is the icing on the cake. Hellions #11 does a lot of heavy lifting for the books future, and its looking to be a great one. May 10, 2021Bottom Line: Hellions is a fun book while never losing sight of the Hickman grand design. This is easily one of the most consistent, least discussed books in the franchise right now. Definitely worth the coin. Read Full Review
