This is a solid enough issue plot wise and moves the story along nicely but the real treat is the art and action. THIS is how to utilize the comic medium to its fullest potential. Noh-Varr gets a nice showcase here and his power set is depicted brilliantly. The panel layout, transitions(an early planet zoom in is particularly subtle and creative) and the actual fighting is fantastic. Very easy to follow and thrilling. Worth the price for the art alone.

Awesome comic booking! Ewing delivers great and fun dialogue with plenty of team(s) banter. Marvel boy shines here especially with Cabal's art. Seriously flawless art and hilarious expressions and moments. His panels are well structured pieces. Federico Blee and GURU-eFX’s colors are fantastic too. I'm still smiling just thinking about stupid things like Rocket's mustache.

Two teams of Guardians go head to head, with Marvel Boy being the round-one standout. But the final pages bend toward a Moondragon-vs-Moondragon fight that looks far more consequential. It's got a fast pace and good, solid writing. The character art is beautiful, but some of the layouts get a little over-ambitious.
