This issue is alright. It's mostly world building, which isn't always exciting. Hopefully though the next issue will be more exciting now that the ground work is all laid out. The art is still really great though. Read Full Review

Last issue's cliffhanger leads to such a boring and unimaginative new issue that I've halfway convinced myself that Dan Slott is pulling a prank on us, just to give myself some hope that this can be redeemed. Read Full Review

Slott's really picking up the game in the past couple issues. I really liked this issue, it's what the Fantastic Four are about: adventure, science, and family. They're super-heroes on Earth, but that isn't their main job, they were scientists to start with. The art's pretty good, wouldn't say it's amazing. Hopefully Slott can continue doing well on this book, not really a fan of his Iron Man

Not sure what I was expecting to come out of this but, this definitely wasnt it. It was not bad at all though. Its been pretty standard FF right now. Sometimes I wish this book would get just a little more serious. It just sometimes is silly but, overall a good read.

I liked the twist on the story. It was the only way to make what is a common story into something a little more interesting. Still not a homerun like the last issue.

A bit of a letdown after such a stellar last issue. The idea is great but the delivery was lacking a bit for me. Having the perspective of the Unparalleded on the story while I go on for pages not understanding what any of the F4 are saying was a turn off for me. I get what they wanted to do but it didn't work for me. The art was great and the transition between artists was noticeable but did not take from the story.

The story recasts the FF as alien invaders of the planet Spyre, sketched out with its own squad of heroes (overlarge) and Star-Trek-y social gimmicks (arranged marriages, divided society, sinister Overseer). The visuals are solid; the script tears off huge Silver-Age-y mouthfuls of scenery. This arc looks to be headed in a "planet of the week" direction, which isn't bad per se, but the setup in the last issue could have launched something so much better.
