Very few questions are answered in this chapter but the threat of the villains gets stronger. Ahab is becoming a more menacing presence. Nathan Summers is an interesting time cop. The art is just as strong as when the team worked on Avengers No Surrender. This issue gets a recommendation. Read Full Review

The event continues at a breakneck speed and delivers excitement that's not expected and very welcome. It's another example that events can work and work really well. Extermination #3 is the middle point of this journey. The X-Men already aren't the same as they were prior to the first issue. Heck, they're not the same at the end of this issue as they were at the start except there's still two more issues left! Time for the Original X-men to go home and Kid Cable is collecting them, however Ahab has an agenda and wants one of them for himself.Will the X-men return home or will this all end in disaster. Read Full Review

Extermination #3 was a big improvement over the first two issues of this event. That is not saying much but the quicker pace and elevation of Ahab as a viable threat helped make this a much better issue. There are still parts of Extermination that need improvement in order for it to be a must read story. If Ed Brisson can turn those things around and keep the momentum created by Extermination #3 going than this could turn out to be a successful X-Men event. Read Full Review

Enjoyed it but a bit of a quick read and that's with me admiring the beautiful art by Pepe Larraz wonderfully colored by Gracia as usual!

I loved this story. Even if I find it laughable the ex/future X-force telling they do thing more brutally & will kill Cable ... How did we pass form that too ... "Join us " ^^ I also have a trouble with Tabitha telling Domino & Cable had a thing. Because in X-force that wasn't Domino but Catseye taking her place. And when they find the true domino the team have to split from Cable just before X-cutionner song. But that tell I liked how ahab control X-man (I wonder what will be the fallout for them). Cover - The connecting variant. Not very good & a little related because young jean as a huge part in this issue. 1/2 Writing - Love how that was made. 3/3 Arts - Love the layout & the panel even if some don't have background. 2.5/3 Fee ling - I eager for more. 2/2 more

THE GOOD: -The art is great. Those who have read more than 1 review by me know that this is no rare occurrence. -This series has a great cinematic feel to it. That is a very important element of a big-event style series that is done well here. -The action scenes were really well done. This is mostly due to the art, but there's no denying the obvious quality present in that area. -The deaths are still really felt, which I appreciate, especially considering this series is named, "Extermination." -The series will definitely read as an excellent epic-event, due to the epic feeling that mainly Larraz captures, but Brisson chips in here as well. THE BAD: -The writing doesn't have me. It doesn't add any depth to the series, a nything more than basic dialogue. Very disappointing. -The characters aren't good enough for me. I think that's mainly because there's too many of them, but still, they don't compel me enough. -The plot isn't really that interesting to me. It is just too bland for me. -This issue isn't very memorable. I think it reads way better in trade, but it still should stand out as a single issue more. more
