I can recommend this one-shot holiday story to just about anyone, but Deadpool fans will especially get a kick out of it. Nic Kleins art is fantastic and Skottie Young doesnt change the formula too much so we end up with a Christmas story that thankfully still feels like a Deadpool story through and through. Deadpool #7 was worth the hype for another holiday special. If I haven't said it already, Scottie Young is made to write Deadpool. He gets the kind of dark humor this book offers, and there is never a dynamic with artists that doesn't nail the over the top savagery that comes with taking on a new mark. Read Full Review

So I'm glad Deadpool didn't pull the trigger and actually solved the problem. This goes to show "shoot first, ask questions later" isn't always the answer. Hopefully, everyone caught that very important message. Read Full Review

Disgruntled present-free kids hire Deadpool to kill Santa Claus. According to immutable Deadpool law, this turns into a team-up after a little mandatory gunplay. I appreciate that this is a nice gimmick-premise teed up and hit cleanly for one-shot distance; Marvel's been stretching too many such premises into five-issue miniserieses. This one gets strong art, funny gags, and a balanced characterization for Deadpool - goofy but not moronic - that suits me fine.

This issue was fine. I'm kind of getting over these one-and-done silly issues because I'm not getting invested anymore. It's never bad, but it could start turning that way if we don't get something to latch onto soon.

The art on these children was harrowing. Like before, trying a little too hard, but not offensive in any way.
