I'm so sad that this mini-series has come to an end. I could read this forever. Writer Donny Cates has done wonders with this character, so I'm glad to see that he's sticking around in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy relaunch. For now, this is a solid read that melds all these corners of the Marvel Universe into one awesome being. If you would have told me that a book called Cosmic Ghost Rider would have me screaming from eye-popping action one moment and nearly in tears the next, I wouldn't have believed you. For an extremely fun and wacky (in a good way) series, this series ends on quite an emotional level, which could only work with a character like Frank Castle, in my opinion. And this was also extremely badass.

OVERVIEW Cosmic Ghost Rider #5 a) Writing/Script= 9.7/10 (Donny Cates) b) Art= 8.6/10 (Dylan Burnett) c) Colours= 9.6/10 (Antonio Fabela) Average= 9.3/10 WOW!!! Cosmic Ghost Rider is OVERPOWERED AS HELL!!! There is a moment in this issue where it will automatically make u a Cosmic Ghost Rider fan for sure!! Not to mention, this book also has some emotional scenes that just made me feel sad for Frank Castle. This might as well be one of the best Frank Castle stories ever. Dylan Burnett's art was sooo good in this issue, probably his best art of the series, better than the last issue (in which i thought it was great). Antonio Fabela's colouring is at its peak. Damn, the colours were soo good. Overall, an epic series with an awe some finale. more

Cosmic Ghost Rider cuts loose with exceptional power to teach his quasi-adopted son what's what. Frank's final actions tie most of what we've seen in this series up in a "never really happened" paradox loop, which I always find frustrating. The character work is truly terrific, though. This issue and the series as a whole serve as a lesson for me: I have a tendency to dismiss books drawn with a "cartoony" style. Doing so here would rob me of an absurdly great read that packs tremendous power into its simple artwork.

A great finally and I really enjoyed Frank as a character. I love the part where Frank begs Death to just leave Thanos alone. If Cosmic Ghost Rider is going to be a Guardian, how does he get to the present though?
