Captain Marvel #7 was a whirlwind of an issue. It was one of the better tie-in issues I've seen, not just for War of the Realms, but in general. And it was a majorly fun team-up, to boot, so it was a win all around. Read Full Review

Annapaola Martello takes a lighter tone to the art in this issue and it works with the tone of the story itself. There is a funny sequence with Widow in the background during a dialogue heavy scene that is one of the only moments where the background is utilized. Almost all of the art is focused on the characters which is effective for highlighting the characters, but takes away a sense of space and location. Read Full Review

In the end, Captain Marvel #7 wraps up a momentary detour in the ongoing narrative that manages to function as, if nothing else, an enjoyable filler story when read out side of the larger crossover event. It ends with a tease for the upcoming plot line that, combined with the promised return of regular series artist Carmen Carnero, has the future looking to be going into a bright, and bold, future for Captain Marvel. This was an okay issue, but after how much I liked the last one, I couldnt help but feel disappointed. I am still a big fan of this book and while I have been singing Kelly Thompsons praises, I will have to wait until next month to sing that song again. Read Full Review

By keeping things relatively simple and spending most of the issue in the jungle seperate from the larger scale event, Captain Marvel is able to stand out as one of the shining lights compared to the rest of the main War of the Realms. Read Full Review

The conclusion to Captain Marvel's War of the Realms tie-in unfortunately just feels uninspired, which is a shame, because there was a lot of potential to explore the psychological impact of her role in the war. Oh well, on to the next issue! Read Full Review

After a hand wave, they arrive in Rio. Stephen, in Captain Marvel's body, goes Binary. Carol, in Doctor Strange's body, causes a mutiny of the dead, defeating the Enchantress. Boom. Done. They all go their separate ways and swear to never do that again. Read Full Review
