Jan 27, 2021While Kelly Thompson's wholeCaptain Marvelrun is good, this arc is easily one of the best, and it's sad to think that it's probably half over. Read Full Review

But Why Tho? - Charles Hartford
Jan 27, 2021Looking back on it as a whole, no aspect of Captain Marvel #25 fails to deliver in the slightest. Emotional moments, great characters, and an exciting send-off that sets up the next issue perfectly. The hype is real for this one. And I cannot wait to see how this story ends. Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - Kellie Keener
Jan 28, 2021Captain Marvel #25 isn't the most action-packed issue of the arc thus far, but the narrative is more than enough to keep readers invested. With Ove's supposedly true backstory revealed- Enchantress isn't exactly trustworthy- he becomes an even more fascinating villain than he appeared when he originally told his story. And with the ending of Captain Marvel #25, it appears that Captain Marvel #26 is going to be a battle of epic proportions where Captain Marvel can really let loose. Read Full Review

Comics: The Gathering - Charles Martin
Jan 27, 2021Carol spends this issue trapped in a familiar narrative prison -- held captive while her antagonists monologue at her. But sharp writing and attractive art do a good job of making Captain Marvel's ordeal palatable to the reader; this is a fully-satisfying continuation of the ongoing arc. Read Full Review

Weird Science Marvel Comics - Aaron Anderson
Jan 28, 2021This issue ended really strong. It helped me ignore the fill in the blanks monologuing that came from Enchantress and Ove. I felt a lot of that was unnecessary because I thought Kelley Thompson and Lee Garbett conveyed or implied that enough last issue. I really hope we can spend more time in this timeline it is really getting my imagination going. I am also really excited about next issue because of the fireworks that are about to be on display will really make Garbett's art shine. Read Full Review
