I won't lie, I'm getting into the game Kraven's trying to play. If he wants to push Spidey to violence, it makes sense that he keeps putting him in the black suit. Another thing that really carries this issue is the melancholy of Dr. Curt Connors and his son. It really shines as some of the most compelling work in this series. The incredible interaction between Curt Connors and Peter Parker cuts deep when the Lizards pulls out a "tell me about responsibility when you have a kid”. We'll see what a berserker Lizard with a history of filicide does to this story. Read Full Review

The plot is not capturing my attention and this reviewer sees too many plot holes with unanswered questions. Spencer is giving answers to questions that no one appears to be interested in and doesnt take the time to explain what is actually happening within the story itself. This Spider-fan leaves the issue more confused than when he started and totally uninterested in the ending of the arc. When this arc began, it felt like it had purpose and direction. Really good issue. I feel like Spencer is really hammering home the Peter/MJ relationship and all that *should* have been. I don't know, maybe I was just reading too much into the part about responsibility and children. But Peter's last thoughts being about MJ were a nice touch.

Spidey makes a decision, and it did not go as expected -- we've seen this one plenty of times. But it's executed really well here, and with the next issue being a conclusion of Hunted, I am really excited to read it.

It's a perfectly good issue, but it's held back by an event that's now starting to feel simultaneously overstuffed and stretched thin. We've spent too much time in Central Park. I'm still looking forward to reading the conclusion, but I'm also looking forward to the event wrapping up.

Hunted is set for an ending that will define how this event is remembered. Will it land, will it not we will find out but, this does a great jib of getting us there.

Good issue, but the reveal that Billy knew his father killed him seemed out of place. I expected Billy to be, I don't know, SCARED?!?! I don't know if I'm missing something cuz a little while ago Billy was asking for his dad. The art work is dope and the part of responsibility was top notch. I love what's going on with Connors

I think I have had my fill of this arc. I was thinking several times I wish The Last Hunt self-narration thing would shut up, because it isn't working here and has overstayed it's welcome as a homage. It is starting to feel very drawn out, repetitive, and tiresome. This arc really should have been cut down to 3 issues and 3 .HU issues. Nick, you have failed me again. I always get into his stories and then they all fall apart at the end.
