A-Force #10

We're very disappointed to see Marvel have put this series on a hiatus. An all-female team in Marvel Comics is very important, and now there's going to be a noticeable gap. The comic was impeccable from start to finish, and we can only hope it returns sooner rather than later. Read Full Review

This is a a'ight issue, the art still wins even with the new artist team on board, and it has a few of those moments that make superhero-ing seem like smash-bang-pow-fun. But maybe it is because this is the last issue that I'm left feeling disappointed. I don't know of any other all-women team up that will fill these A-Force shoes. Read Full Review

The set up was sloppy and turns out the rest of the storyfollowed suit. The issue is just filled with a bunch of nonsense and has thingsjust happen without explanation. It was poorly thought out and I wouldn't besurprised if they knew the book was going to end after this storyline and justhalf-assed their way through it. NOOOOOO!!!!!!! It can't end like this! I need more Elsa Bloodstone in my life. What a great character to add. I just hope after the chaos of Civil War II has ended we can see a new A-Force team. Because it is just plain fun to see such strong characters in action. And P.S. add Bloodstone into the line up. Siqueira, Bennett and Rosenberg also do great job with the art and color but it really was Thompson's writing that made this book shine. Hope to see a line up of A-Force again real soon.

This arc basically ends the way I figured it would, not that it's a bad thing, but it's difficult to keep the self-fulfilling prophecy story type unique. Such is the inherent problem with the concept of this event. I'm happy to be rid of Elsa Bloodstone, I guess this is the end of this run, it's a bit of an awkward way to round it out, but I'm assuming that another relaunch is right around the corner.
