Void Rivals #5 is what I've been hoping for from the series. The story feels like it's progressing beyond its launching of a comic line. It's beyond guest stars. All of that has built something towards this, though at times loosely. Hopefully the payoff is worth it, there's potential, but we'll have to wait a bit more and see. Read Full Review

It is a great read. Really enjoying the dynamic between Darak and Solila. Great writing on that front. In this issue we get another faction in play to help out Darak and move things along. After all, in any brutal authoritarian society there has to be a resistance! Like some others have said, the art of this entire series isnt exactly to my liking but it has been growing on me. So at least its trending in the right direction. Fun read, you won't regret it.

This series continues to do exciting things with its premise and expand this world. Darak and Solila are captivating main characters and the art is brilliant. Sleeper hit of the year.

I'm not sure there's enough story here to do an on-going, but at least the story keeps moving. Still not a fan of this art. They don't even ask him any specific questions during his torture and it was convenient that the resistance can move around the facility undetected.
