    The next issue explores the origin of the monsters eyes. It will be interesting to see how Walsh frames the sight of a conflicted creature that has been drawn together by various people suffering from various issues that cut right to the core of who they are. Walshs work really delivers a breathtaking look at the background of the film thats based on Shellys work...expanding it and illuminating it in ways the bring a bit more definition to the Universal film as an accomplished work in and of itself. Walsh is giving the film a bit more of its own place as a clear and distinctive work by exploring the edges of a story from the dawn of popular cinema.  Read Full Review

    Frankenstein #3 sets us up for the big finale in this iteration of the classic horror tale. This issue is all about the heart and allows the reader to connect with the characters we haven't spent a lot of time with setting us up for an epic finale. Read Full Review

    UNIVERSAL MONSTERS: FRANKENSTEIN #3 presents a serviceable, penultimate issue to provide insight into Elizabeth's relationship with Henry and create a loose explanation for the monster's fixation on Elizabeth. Michael Walsh's art reverently captures the look and feel of the original film, but the script suffers from pacing problems and a mild retcon that's too clunky to be effective. Read Full Review
