This was an amazingly awesome stand alone story - had a Special Missions feeling to it. I would like to see more like this, interesting, fast paced, and fun (with thin ties to the larger story). Highly recommend this issue, even if you haven’t read any Energon books thus far - this is a great place to start! Also …Night Force!!!

I'm still not a fan of this art, but I love what Williamson is doing with the characters. This introduction to Beachead was fun and I enjoy his attitude baked into the dialogue. I'm waiting to see what happens with the Baroness. My Comic Review Channel - https://youtu.be/ayzvCYDIpdw

Stylistically, Andrea Milana is a fitting fill-in for Tom Reilly, but in regard to quality, the absence of the latter does make a difference. This run of G.I. Joe was brilliant so far - this issue is "just" good.
